the better way to do double triple etc flips is to flick a tiny bit later after popping. try and delay the flick just a split second and you ll get the board to spin flips without going forward. ps: the faster you flick the faster it spins.

My favorite thing to do is when I'm doing kickflips and heelflips is to do a high pop and swing the right stick in a circular motion like when you do shuvs in skate and it'll kinda nosedive the board and you'll get that crazy steez. It looks especially good for bs flips and bs heels.

For double flips i just hold the stick to the side and after the first rotation tuck your back foot in to get the additional flip. Looks super stylish and most of the time you get these gangster dipped double flips.

I downloaded the game today after watching a couple of your rad 5 tip videos that have helped me learn the controls a bit better thanks. I ride bmx/mtb/motocross but cant skateboard to save my life haha. Skate 2 and 3 did a pretty good job of creating that skateboarding feel but was still to much arcade style. But Skater XL feels like im skating for real and its rad af! I would love a snowboard game to come out that feels like this! Rad job on your videos man.

Great vid! What seems to work best for me when doing double flips is hold the front foot stick to the opposite side whilst you get ready to pop. So for a kickflip (goofy) I hold the front foot all the way to the left and then all the way to the right and that seems to give you a very leveled double flip!

For double flips, I've found that instead of flicking quickly, if you hold the opposite direction, almost like you're winding it up, and then flick right before you pop, you'll hit it 9 times out of 10. It's only really possible on low pops to my knowledge.

You just have to press the front foot button if you want to start in switch, no need to be in switch to set a marker in that stance, if you play the challenges you learn all of these things

I play on ps4 and to double flip I just move the stick fast to the side that you flip and it makes your board flip faster. So basically just do a regular kick flip but move the stick faster. The faster you move your stick the faster the board will flip causing it to do two or three flips. It’s never failed me. Hope I explained it well enough lol
