5:00 this is almost the same as my daily driver build I've been using for the last month, so I want to clarify some things and mention the things I do differently based on my preferences: 1: Lok1 will never fire at already dead enemies, no matter how many excess locks they have - meaning you only lose the time time spent locking on, not ammo. 2: The damage option in T1 is a rare case of the damage mod being more efficient than ammo, because +6 to 21 base damage is a much bigger increase than the usual and will let you kill every enemy with at least one bullet less - also worth noting that seekers can still score weakpoint hits if the weakpoint is the first thing the line intersects. 3: I always take macro lens personally because I consider the narrower lock-on field to be an even bigger upside than the doubled range, giving me more precise control. 4: SMRT is a solid option with seeker rounds because it somewhat negates the downside of slower burst speed by optimizing your lock-ons, but ONLY with seeker rounds - with normal ammo it doesn't take armour into account and will leave bugs alive on single-digit HP more often than not. 5: Fear frequency is an odd one because the aura comes from you, not your bullets, and comes with the last bullet fired in a burst - so when you use the gun to mow down approaching grunts chances are the mod did nothing for you, because the fear was only triggered after you were done filling them with bullets. Still great to cover your back when sniping priority targets, which is the true niche of seeker lok1 6: Disabled inertia inhibitor lets you save yourself from falls from any height, even ones where a platform wouldn't've been enough - and considering how many such falls RJ250 creates, this never leaves my loadout.

3:00 Sacrificing reload speed and clip size really hurts this setup. OC Mini Shells ( 1,2,1,1,2 ) Is the same idea, 50 dmg VS your 72 but more in the clip, reload speed and better accuracy. Personally OC Light-weight Magazines ( 1,2,3,1,1 ) 70 dmg, never let me down. Off hand: Deepcore. OC Hyper Propellant ( 2,1,3,1,2 ) OR Shard Diffractor. OC Overdrive Booster, ( 3,1,2,1,3 )

Not really, the reload speed is kind of a non issue since you can just animation cancel super easy with the warthog. Also so long as you're taking at least one of the extended mag mods, you're fine.

a really fun build is the seeker rounds lok-1 as well as the clean sweep pgl with Area damage, Aoe and proximity trigger with fire damage, it really helps clear crowds as well as allow you to do good uninterrupted direct damage

You mentioned that armor breaking on the grenade launcher is bugged, so if I use Hyper Propellant do I just not put any upgrades on that slot (as fire damage is supposed to reduce the impact damage)?

pretty sure hyper propellant allows the fire damage to go alongside the direct hit damage edit: unless this is patched this basically means there will be the full direct hit + fire damage with no downside

Hyper Propellent does not lose damage on the fire because it is considered a different damage type that is not effected by the fire. It is really strange.

Incendiary mod seems to be bugged beneficially with hyper propellant. Doesn't seem to cut damage appreciably, if at all, but it still sets stuff on fire reliably for a moderate damage buff in the end. It also overheats patrol bots in one hit, which is great. I use it.

Lol that first build was mostly like I’ve been using on my engineer but I only have efficiency tweeks for the laser 🥵 it’s bloody good fun though. Magnetic pellets is my fav for the shotgun just feels right to me.

Why not include turret whip on magnetic pellet alignment? (In my opinion every warthog build but I understand why some would want it for things like mini shells or cycle overload for ease of use, and why you wouldn’t just say that for build diversity videos) Turret whip always feels like a good fit on magnetic pellet alignment for me because you can hit your turrets more reliably from a better distance. Plus it is easier to get over run by large swarms, especially if it’s trash mobs like swarmers, with magnetic pellet alignment. This is depending on what your secondary+oc/ammo is like of course I just think turret whip is insane for what it costs (mod slot+ammo used) for trash mobs, upgraded grunt swarms, guard / praetorian armor breaking and chunking + stun… and mag pellet loves all of that. Turret whip desperately makes me want an oc for the lok-1 that interacts with turrets lol Thanks for coming to my build rant ^.^

yeah I can't not use turret whip I honestly use most of my warthog ammo on shooting my turrets bc it hits multiple enemies at a time. it's strongest on refining liquid morkite and escort missions. turret whip almost 1 shots the flying rocks on haz5 escort it's kinda insane
