I can’t more relate to manifestation. As a person with experience in OCD ,I can also say that it increases your importance in thought and as a result keeps you in your oCD cycle. If you are diagnosed with OCD stay away from manifestation. Anyways wonderful video, you are definitely an inspiration.

This is SUCH an interesting perspective because I don’t have OCD but I definitely found that when I found myself really into manifestation, it did become obsessive and compulsive ! But I’ve never considered this perspective so thank you for sharing 🫶🏼

For those of us who dont want to get sweaty in the morning the best thing to do is a good full stretch routine and then proprioception/balancing, its a game changer and it gets your body ready for the day. Also a short dancy dance to a good upbeat song is a nice way to get movement in (i do it in pjs ngl)- a good cue is to just set an alarm as your fav song for when you wanna start "working out"

I LOVE these so much!! Especially the short dance in pyjamas 💅🏼 morning movement definitely doesn’t have to be jogging 10k or an intense hit session ☀️

I’m working a remote job at the moment and I am finding a nice morning routine is keeping me sane (my office is in the basement). I make my same adhd breakfast every day and I eat it and drink my tea while I read my little gay romance novel. Then I take my mug of tea on a little walk around the neighbourhood. Then I try to unload the dishwasher, and have a little dance party before sitting down at my desk

Not sure if you haven’t referenced already, but yeah some of your advice did come from Atomic Habits by James Clear! Should probably leave the book as reference in your description so others can check it out

I am so jealous! I am a new doctor from Germany but our rounds on ward start at 7:00 😮😢. The only thing I do at 5óclock in the morning is gulp down my black tea😂

Same but I'm from Poland. Getting to work takes me almost an hour (or even 1.5h if it's holiday and public transportation forgets about people who still need to work) so I need to wake up around 4:45 am to be on time. What's even worse I suffer from delayed sleep phase symptom so I can't go to bed too early. If I were to wake up even earlier to do some push ups or yoga I wouldn't be able to function

It is soo important to incorporate these habits, I work full time as a lawyer and have very less time to myself and I have anxiety disorder, incorporating these habits, like waking up early,working out in the morning, and not scrolling through your phone first thing in the morning has made a huge difference in my life and to my mental health. Totally not toxic productivity, you understand this only once you know you don't have a lot of time to give yourself. This is self love.

I already had a routine before I started watching your videos, but your videos keep me motivated.

honestly smoothies are a lifesaver. and i absolutely hate people who will tell you that you cant eat that much fruit because of sugar. As if sugar was the reason why you gain wait or anything (its not, you gain weight only because of calorie surplus). ❤❤
@Lilyrev3 ай бұрын
People have demonised the sugar in fruit so much that the other day I fancied a second pear and nearly stopped myself because of the sugar, but if I wanted another piece of chocolate I wouldn’t think to stop myself, it’s crazy!

@@Lilyrev exactly, its so sad. We already don’t consume enough fiber and vitamins through our diet.

Great tips! I like to remind myself of the importance of discipline for my goals rather than motivation. Motivation is fleeting and limited, that I cannot wait around for a feeling of motivation but rather being disciplined is a choice.

Hi Faye! I’m a med student in Spain. I always wanted to work in the UK as a doctor but, because of the circumstances, I’m going to finish at my thirties. Do you think the NHS or UK in general is going to have a problem with that? I’m really scared and concerned with it but, at the same time, I truly always dreamed working there. I hope you read this message and answer. Sending you loads of love because you really had inspired me through out my journey. Thank you so much for everything!!! ❤❤❤❤
@emilytighe3537Ай бұрын
No that shouldn't be a problem at all Elena, there are newly qualified doctors of all ages here in the NHS, including mature and postgraduate students. we would love to have you here in the UK. Good luck 🩷

Small habit loop changes that helped me: - cue: bringing workout clothes to the bathroom on the morning so when I get out, I straight away get into the workout clothes = More hassle to get changed into proper work clothes before leaving = the decision to cycle has been made well before I leave - craving: make sure I have a podcast/playlist for the journey so you have something to - response: if you want to cycle daily to work, don’t push yourself too hard, take it at a leisurely pace + take a nice route - reward: take note of EVERY car you pass on your journey ESPECIALLY if it’s rush hour and traffic’s bad + strava every cycle
