I would add Serpent Mound near Columbus OH. It's...mysterious.

If you like Bandelier, you should go further south to the Gila Cliff Dwellings near Silver City, NM. New Mexico is FULL of ancient sites!

I would like to take a month and check out the NM and some other parts of the SW ❤

Another amazing video! As an American citizen, I am amazed that I had never heard of any of these sites! I used to live in Missouri and I had never heard of Cahokia. I’ll have to go :) Thank you for sharing!

Thanks so much! Yes, please visit Cahokia one day, or a different mound site if you're anywhere between Wisconsin and Florida

You should have pointed out the damage to the Blythe Intaglios due to people driving on them.
@ACEDIAMOND666 Жыл бұрын
I actually live in Blythe. The Intaglios are about 20 miles north of town on US 95.

Went to the Intaglios in Blythe last year! They are amazing but just a heads up it’s a no-fly zone for drones…so no overhead views :(

No one will ever convince me that the people who built Cahokia didn't draw inspiration for their structures from the Aztec pyramid builders.

Cahokia is older than the Aztec culture & people

@@poloclubb Well that should be convincing.

The mounds were built to escape the flooding. Plz take note that Cahokia mounds are on low flat land next to a river. Rivers flood. Build a mound, stay dry Life is simple.

Could it be, that in the past there was a (race) . to see what country could get there inhabitants to build a pyramid faster then the other countrys.( who can do it faster) So all pyramids begin to be built on a given day in time. The start of the race. All over the hole planet . Just an idea.

Too bad you chose such a juvenile name and icon for your video channel. No teacher or grandparent is going to send it to any kid. Are you sure you wanna be locked into this identity?
