This video is awesome! Rounded corners vs square corners was a great explanation, I’ve struggled with ppf for the last year and it’s now starting to make sense. This video is GOLD really helpful, i’m not sure everyone realizes how good of info this is. I wish i could’ve seen this a year ago. We’re using weldy heaters and i go back and torch the end with a real quick click from a single flame butane lighter because I couldn’t figure out that the heater needed to be at 1000 degrees. I was trying temps that worked on vinyl and was lost for so long trying to figure out what to do. There is literally no content on ppf. So many scenarios where vinyl would easily work but ppf doesn’t because of the film thickness the splices don’t look as nice. I guess it’s the good with the bad. I have all my employees watch your videos as homework, I’ll have them watch this one, thank you!

Ok so this blew my mind. I have been trying way to hard pulling too hard to the edge. Edges have been the hardest part for me with this stuff. I need to adjust my technique.

you have oracal. The best vinyl. why do you need such garbage as vivid? for what?
@blcr3871Ай бұрын
you can get many other great brands tho ! aint like vivvid is the top all, even hexes is as good and you can get it over there even oracal
@milkysponge3318Ай бұрын
@@blackseries503 Oracal is definitely not the best vinyl. There's not THE best vinyl. Most of the time the surface of Orafol gloss vinyls looks like shit. Orange Skin to the max. Neutralising is a pain in the ass aswell compared to Avery oder 3M after some years. The thickness is great tho

never liked TPU as its too finicky for me. My favorite film is Llumar ppf. its indistinguishable to clear coat. Not a fan of color wrap. I'd rather just repaint and ppf again
