In 96 my girlfriend wanted a convertible. I worked for Ford and had access to several dealerships. There was a 91 well maintained Reatta convertible with 80k miles that l picked up. I was surprised at how well the car held up. It wasn't a sports car but the perfect car for beach weekends and she loved it. After three years we split up and l lost track of both the car and girl

A guy I worked with bought one of those Reattas, brand new. A very attractive little sled, with one of the best engines GM ever produced.

The Buick Reatta 's front overhang is too long and the rear bumper too bulky. Had the designers taken a closer look to the sport convertible European car industry, they could have come up with a much more balanced product.

Reatta: if I recall correctly from past reading, a *manual* convertible roof on so costly a sports car was not appreciated.

I always liked those Geo convertibles. If they made that car today I bet they'd sell a lot. I'm surprised there's nothing here about the Cadillac Allante.

Riatta's were beautiful cars. I knew 2 people who were very happy owners.

My boss owned a Reatta that I drove a few times. It drove like a car twice it's size. It was a barge.

If they had put the turbo in it and rear wheel drive in the buick, they would have sold many thousands more of them😊

The problem with that Suzuki was that as you couldn't carry anything more than a medium-sized suit-case, it was quite useless as a 4WD when you could buy one of Suzuki's other 4x4 models which were very capable despite their smallish size!

Hi, the 2 gen Saab 900/9-3 " wasnt " a Saab, it was more the Saab version of a GM platform/chassis. The others were Opel/Fiat and Lancia. And than there was the " special " Lancia Thema 8.32 with the Ferrari 8 cylinder.

Red Bull also cut up a mini and turned it into a pick up with a can on it for marketing

The Suzuki X-90 (btw - not a convertible) limped so the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet could trip, stumble and fall.

1, 2 and 5. They are Front-WRONG-Wheel-Drive. They have problems that you don't have to care about on a Rear-Wheel-Drive vecile when either get old. A malfunctioning excelerator module that makes it over rev it's brakes for one. Number 3. It is ugly and the Company died. Number 5. It is cute and is good for point A to point B driving, but it is useless for using it as truck.
