For the first one, the girl wasn’t dead already. He found her struggling, tried to save her but couldn’t and then the girl drowned. After finding a doll along with the girl he hung up more as a tribute for the girl to keep her happy. The guy who found her had a friend and the friend told a show called Ghost Adventures all about it and why there were so many dolls. If you don’t believe me look up ghost adventures and find the episode.
