This seems inspired from Indian mythology. We have a god called Hanuman ,who was born so insanely powerful, that even as a child he tried to fly and consume the sun god himself. He was just being a mischievous kid but posed great danger to the world, so some sages put a mental suggestion in his mind, making him forget a vast entiriety of his powers. The Czarnians were all on equal levels with Lobo. He used a genetically engineered a species of scorpion-like insectoids to kill them. He didn't go out and fight/shoot every one of them to the death as he was a child/teenager at the time. The primary difference between Lobo and the rest of the Czarnians was that Lobo was mentally unstable and a psychopath where the rest of his species were pacifistic (to the point of being considered the most peaceful species in the universe by many) despite their incredible power. As an entirely pacifistic species, the Czarnians had no defense against such a sudden and entirely unexpected invasion of such a hyper-aggressive predatory species literally designed to kill them. But every other Czarnian we've seen in canon has demonstrated some to all of the abilities we attribute to Lobo. * His teacher from the Last Czarnian mini series had his same pain tolerance and ability to "breathe" in space, she likely possessed some level of strength and durability though it would have been much less than Lobo given she was exceedingly old. * The "pretender" Lobo from the New 52 demonstrated everything we've come to expect from Lobo * His daughter Crush, so far shows every indication of also having every ability he is credited with, but is only weaker due to her obviously younger age and smaller physical frame.

Czarnian genes are apparently extremely dominant to the point half-breeds are basically indistinguishable from full bloods. There was a mini-series decades ago where all of his kids banded together to try to take out their old man, and they failed miserably at it. Lobo has just eventually killed all of them at one point or another. The last Lobo comic run before the New 52 also specifically showed a daughter that he actually seemed to care about as a baby. He had the mom set up on a nice planet and would actually visit from time to time. I'm pretty sure that's not Crush, because one of the key story points with Crush is that we don't know who her mother is. Though I haven't read the Crush & Lobo series yet, so it's possible they go into more detail there. Personally I'm hoping her mom is Darlene from the main Lobo series, since she was the main recurring potential romantic interest for the Main Man through that entire comic run.

TBH Lobo managing to wipe out all Czarnians has nothing to do with power levels... didn't he kill them all by spreading some kind of toxin he'd invented? For all other purposes he's a brute, but when it comes to chemistry he's a natural genius. And as far as I can remember, he's not much different from other Czarnians in terms of powers: they all had a healing factor, possibly super strength too, they simply were too pacific to fight back. Lobo mainly differs in that he's absolutely evil, a genius at chemistry and he can't die... not because of his healing factor, but because nobody in the Afterlife wants him, so his soul keeps coming back.
