ToyosiFawehinmi we have great red lipsticks from Nigerian owned brands too and presently, what does it for me is AustaConcepts Ose and Mkposiba which is a 5 colour wheel with beautiful selection of different shades and textures. Zaron Red Vine also is a beautiful blue toned red lip pencil and Brick Chic is cool too @dimma, do explore Nigerian Brands too at least, it will help people in this recession period and it will also make room for recognition for ours too

My dear I use Nigerian brands a lot here on this channel. However I will not put a product in a video just because it is Nigerian. I'm sure that the lip colours that you and Yemisi recommended are good and I will check them out with time but like you said we are in a recession and those products cost money so I don't want to force anything. Recently, I've been learning that Mac's Chestnut or NYX's Espresso are not necessarily the best for every lipstick on dark skin. I've started buying different shades of lip liners and they make a huge difference, especially for lipsticks that I didn't like initially. Will be adding red lip liners to my collection now. Coloured Raine's "Cherry Blossom" is one of the best reds I own, and Eunique Beauty's "Morticia".

My favorite red lipstick is MAC Red. It is a classic red; neither orange nor blue based. It is a satin formula. Julia’s Place Ruby lipliner is a perfect match for it. ❤️

ooooh! Mac red does not get enough shine. I discovered it 10 years ago and it is still my go to for a stunning look. Only downside is as a satin it doesn't last very long!

I've always loved red lipsticks and struggled to find the right shades since Avon stopped selling my favorite, Maraschino. I've given me some ideas for sure. The only thing I will ask is that you should list the products in your description; that'll make it easier to remember what to look for.

My favourite reds are Stila stay all day liquid lipstick in Beso, and colourpop liquid lipstick in Avenue. I love Beso so much I wore it on my wedding day. Reds can be tricky for WOC but once you understand your undertones, you'd hardly wear other colours. Great video Dinma

I love reds. NYX Monte Carlo is great too. It's one of the soft matte lip creams and it's nice. The cost is about $6 USD. Your MAC store is insane for charging double price for a lip pencil. They are around $18 here; still costly but not unreasonable.

I’m a fan of Rimmel London’s Kate Moss lipstick in 01. It’s a warm toned red in a creamy formula. And if you can spend more, Icon by Hourglass is supposed to be a universally flattering red and it’s my favorite! I highly recommend them. Also, your English is wonderful. Have you ever tried Chanel liquid color with it's own gloss? It lasts 24 hours and you can eat and drink without reapplication. You only need coconut oil to take it off. Very user-friendly!
