@@MayankKumar-z5t more than 70% of stscs are living in poverty… and only 10-15% of general category are poor.. this is what caste discrimination did.. so reservation should only be based on caste.. not economic.. but they still got EWS…

@@Gamepilot-e6ewhy are you talking illogical.... I am from obc but we get reservations according to financial conditions...obc ncl and obc creamy layer.... If reservation will be given to an economically weaker section whether it's 10-15% of general category or 70-80% of sc st it is needed for everyone and general weaker section people also deserve this

@@STARVIP18 First of all there are other policies to alleviate poverty, not everything should be included in reservation system rather education should be inexpensive.. And OBCs castes like yadav, kurmi, jaat, gujjars, patels, Reddys are doing financially well. Still obcs got 27% reserved seats. If you care about generals then ask govt to reduce obc quota. Reduce it to 10% like EWS. 17% more seats will be added for open.. Don’t attack stsc reservation because our population has suffered the most from dicrimination. Stscs still have very low representation in education, mainstream jobs, politics, and land ownership.

As per latest supreme court judgement in state of Punjab versus union of India the seven judge bench declare that the reservation must be for the economically weaker in schedule caste and scheduled tribe, this judgement should be discussed. Chief justice chandrachud and BR Gavai written the judgement with one dissent.

In a country like India, where nearly 90% of the population earns less than ₹25,000 a month and falls under the EWS category, it’s not just helpful-it’s necessary. We live in a society where discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, and more is still a harsh reality. Crimes rooted in these biases happen far too often. Take something like female infanticide-it’s still common in parts of India. That’s why we have initiatives like the 'Single Girl Child Quota' and laws that protect women. These aren’t just about protection-they’re about empowerment. Even raising the legal marriage age for women from 18 to 21 wasn’t just a random move. It’s about giving women a chance to pursue education, build careers, and take up positions of power, while also tackling issues like child marriage. Reservation isn’t about giving unfair advantages; it’s about making sure everyone starts on a more equal footing. And to make it fairer, we have concepts like the creamy layer for OBCs and EWS in the general category, so the benefits go to those who need them the most. At the end of the day, it’s about giving everyone a fair shot-because in this country, those who need it more should get it first.
