Thank you Patrick for your hints and tips, we were in Barcelona last week, studied your videos before we went and had a superb time. It was my wife's first time and my third, 1st time I have been since I have learnt to speak spanish, 25 years since my last visit! We loved the place especially the Born area, went to the Palau de Musical for the Flamenco found the Antic Threatre afterwards. Got to see all the sights because we had tickets, although the towers were closed due to heavy rain the day we went to see the Sagrada Familia. La Sosenga was just round the corner from our hotel we visited it on the Sat evening for dinner. After 5 days we went to Cadaques for a further 4 days and a friends wedding, got to see the Dali house I think we were the only guests that had tickets again thank you Patrick. Please keep up the good work and we want to return soon as there is so much more we want to see such as the 'Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau' and 'Sant Pau del Camp'. Patrick: Terrific video (quality and organization) and menu suggestions. I really appreciated you adding the photos of each dish with the names and prices in writing since my Spanish is still beginner and hearing Catalan even less so. Hopefully I will be able to show the pictures with dish names the next time I visit Barcelona. This video made me so hungry and the left overs in my refrigerator are disappointing.

Valenciana is our version of Paella in Iloilo, Philippines. The difference, we use sticky rice 😋.

We just went tonight during La Mercé and the tapas were really good but we were a little disappointed with the 2 rice dishes we got. Even more disappointing was that they had no idea who we were talking about when we tried for the free drink. Even the same waitress from your video was super confused when I mentioned she was literally in the video (and now I am pretty sure I'm on some Spanish stalker list). Either way, keep up the good work.

Paella is expensive when I was in the Philippines I thought its an alta's food...(alta sa sociad) like rich people's food ...but its the same as Arroz Valenciana that I ate before my co worker used to cook filipino food😅 I'm filipino too actually will be going this February next year...taking notes on foods to eat

Was in this restaurant on the 23rd October spent 40 Euro on the paella del senyoret for 2 persons since they only take order of 2 . And it’s terrible, it’s so salty that we only eat 1 spoonful of it and couldn’t eat it anymore, so people be careful

Quick question: is it culturally appropriate to eat with your hands in Spain? In most of central Europe you will see people eating a burger with a fork and knife. Just wondering how it is perceived in Spain.

This was not good paella at all. It was soupy rice. Zero soccarat! What a disappointment, in the food and Th e fact that we made the 30 minute trek to try this place based on this video. It sucked

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! Stay way from it like the plague. I am in Barcelona and went her because of this video and the food is horrible. The cod was raw. The Paella was soggy and tasted like garbage. Stay away from this restaurant and stay way from anything this KZbinr says. Our entire evening was ruined because I listened to this guy.
