Agar lumpsum nahi hai toh hi SIP karna chahiye. Nahi toh seedha lumpsum maaro. SIP bahut zyada time le jayega same amount of lumpsum tak pohuchne me jisse aapke returns kam ho jayenge. Maanlo aapke paas abhi 10 lakh hai, toh usse directly invest karo taaki poora amount hi market me shuru se compund ho sake. Agar ussi 10 lakh ko divide karke daaloge 10000 ke installments me toh bahut late hoga and rerurns bhi kam honge. Check karke hi dekhlo.

How would you know that this is the lowest part of market price now? If you see some fall in market invest some lumpsum and if market goes down more then invest more. Market is too low then lumpsum is better or else sip is simple and good. When stocks are too low then invest a large amount in lumpsump and continue the sip as usual.

3 years ago the stock market was very low as compared to 5 years ago because of the market crash due to the Pandemic. Your Equity Fund Returns are trailing returns which compare today's NAV with the NAV three or five years ago. So, the 5-Year returns of Equity Funds are relatively lower because stock markets were at higher levels 5 years ago.
