As soon as I put a crave in my hand for the first time checking out MVP i knew right then I’m replacing large part of my bag. MVP feels so good in the hand. I can play round after round with just a crave and resistor.

Same. The crave was the disc that made me fall in love with disc golf. It was perfect in the hand. I think I will put in an order here soon. I need to get a resistor, pyro, reactor, and deflector. Like a newb I went and bought drivers... then putters. I need to fill out mids.

A ton of people love the crave! My grip doesn’t mend well with speeds 6-8. If I pinch grip them it’s great, I’m just not comfortable with that grip on fairways yet.

I really appreciate your comments regarding MVP discs seasoning and then staying good for a long time. I have an old Vector that I have used for so many one disc rounds and as my go to stable midrange for over three years and it is still surprising me how consistent and reliable it flies… probably my favorite disc in my bag. Big selling point in my book.

I've picked up your love for the Trace. Especially the domey Proton ones because they're very stable and glidey, but every Trace I've thrown has been awesome. It's so easy to throw and seems to flip just the right amount almost every time.

I’ve been playin MVP axion for many years now and I’m glad they are getting so much attention lately, since James made that epic throw in with the envy. Gotta give big props to the Insanity. Holy shit balls, this disc can do it all. I can”t imagine playing a round of disc golf without the Insanity. Also, the Relay is phenomenal. It gets overlooked because the Crave has similar flight numbers and I always bag 2 or 3 or Craves, but damn the Relay just bombs for a 6.5 speed. And it’s just predictable and great for tight wooded holes. Also try the Ion and Atom putters, great for throwing or putting, equally good at both.

I started throwing the Motion for forehand and thumbers, get out of trouble throws. The Photon, Glitch, Catalyst for backhand two months ago and really like the flights. Ice chained out a few times for aces and recently got an ace with the glitch. So today I ordered another Glitch and I'm going to try the Relativity for longer turnover drives than the Catalyst..

Electron Matrix was a true gem find for me. Gave me my first consistent straight flight. Now after six months, my Electron gets some turn. Now bag a Proton Matrix. Love it.

The teleport is a sleeper! It has some turn for big arms but still enough stability to handle power. The nomad is a good compliment to the anode. It’s a little more stable. As far as putting goes, I feel like it has a touch more glide as well.

Baby arm here with my top 5. Longest flight - Tenacity. Most reliable big distance (light wind) - Vanish/Wave. Shapeable fairwair - Was the Amp (oop) now the Virus. I'm screwed mid - Deflector :) Do anything throwing putter - Proxy. FYI these discs in premium plastic take quite a while to beat in. Bounus shout out to beadless putter would be the Atom for spinny putts. Also, if you can grab a oop **Vertex for out of circle putts, its bomb!

I started my gyro journey with the hex. It was love at first throw! Now I have 80% of my bag gyro. My personal favorites; Octane, Trace, Inertia, Resistor, Hex

I haven’t thrown the resister much but the smaller rims are weird unless I use my midrange pinch grip. I know a ton of people love that disc though!

Great job! How long have you been playing? I didn't really jiv with the matrix. I should try it again though. That was a few years ago. Somehow it went missing though. I don't know if someone stole it or what but it is gone. I have really been enjoying the hex and the Emac truth as of late. ok question. I love the crave. It is a bit flippy at times. I don't usually throw it when there is any sort of headwind. Anyway, I was wonder what would be the best disc with a 8-11 speed that would be the most like a crave? Maybe a slightly more stable crave. Maybe there will be nothing but let me know what you think. I have been looking at getting a wrath and I think that could be the closest. I have a virus and insanity. Insanity seems pretty close to a crave but still has the same problems of a crave too when I throw it into any sort of a headwind. Maybe the Lift is what I need. Is that more or less stable then the Wrath? Maybe I just need a really beat in Volt. What is the least stable volt that they sell? Maybe a lightweight volt in Fission is what I need. Let me know what you think. Do you have a discord or anything like that?

I have been playing for almost 12 years. The new matrix fly a bit more overstable than the runs I currently throw. The hex flies similarly to the older matrix. With the lift being a little faster but still having 2 turn, it should give you similar flights to the crave. I would recommend proton plastic at first as it’s the most under stable for that mold. Although if the insanity isn’t holding into wind, maybe try the neutron to add a little stability. If you’re looking for an actual headwind 8-11 speed, I would also recommend trying the wrath or a lighter weight fission Tesla. As far as more under stable volts go, if you find pre flight number proton or even early flight number neutron (2017/2018 era). They are usually a little domey as well. On a side note, starting a channel on discord is an interesting idea. Do you actually feel it’d be useful? Hopefully this was helpful!

Agree, the Anode is MVP’s best throwing putter. Love it in Electron. Anode, Pyro, Hex, Crave, Fireball and Fission Octane are my must have discs.

I enjoy watching your content. I wouldn’t be surprised if Simon picked up the matrix because of you. I also don’t see many others throwing it, but seems to be better for the stronger arm types.

Fission photon is a must. Fission wave for slower arms Hex is awesome Volts are great. I bag 3 different plastics

I fell in love with the matrix when a buddy told me to try an overhand approach flick. I am TERRIBLE at flicks. It seemed to work great. My arm speed has increased and NOW my nuetron matrix is a tiny bit of pop-up to long glide and reliable fade. Before the arm increase, it was my OS mid approch. I love the matrix, it fits the slot below my crave. The more I throw the matrix, the longer it seems to fly. If i need more beef than a matrix, I usually step to the t-bird or on up to my beloved nuetron volt.

The key for traces are sticking with them until they beat in or finding older runs that are pre flight numbers! The newer ones are definitely a bit beefy!

I love the anode. I got one from a used bin and Its my go to approach disc inside of 310' My top 5 are: Resistor, Crave, Reactor, Wrath, Photon MVP Glow Plastic (eclipse) is the best.

I am glad that you said wrath. I have not heard almost anything about the wrath. It seems to be an older disc that doesn't get a lot of love these days.

I bag relay PYRO and nomad. Just bought a glow envy not liking it. It's stable glidey on Back hand but has 0 torque resistance on 4hand. I need the entropy I guess

My relay and dx thunderbird flys like your matrix. I want the entropy Tesla hex and uplink wish list. Maybe trade envy for proxy. I love my glow Reko but it's not glidey like nomad and envy. I need a gyro Reko.

It’s definitely a little touchy for forehands. I use a one finger short arm snap to make sure I don’t over torque it
