100% agree with you on gifts. If someone ever bought me a knife or pen or flashlight, I'd be ecstatic because that means they really understand me and what I like. Cloths or other useful things are nice but getting me something hobby related is all I ever want because it makes the gift feel just that much more special. My parents took 2 trips to Tennessee and my dad stopped both times at SMKWs and got me 2 different knives. While they are not the best knives (my dad doesn't really like knives or know much) I will always love them and cherish regardless.

I would love to see a practical EDC video for women. I normally have a little Swiss Army classic (Ocean Life limited edition) in my pocket. I use it daily around the house. Such a practical little tool and it can fit in just about any size pocket. I have the Spyderco ladybug and the Civivi baby banter (both purple), but don't find them as useful. It would be fun to see what other ladies carry around.

I also vote for a photo tutorial. Someone asked for slipjoint recommendations..the Case Tony Bose limited editions are always excellent and hit the $350- 600 range depending on pattern and materials.

Oh yeah and with the Bose editions the steel is always next level compared to Case's typ surgical stainless such as ATS-34 the custom makers go to steel for years back when I was making knives.

I have not been able to find a small right angle light for my EDC. I carry a Leatherman with a sheath that can hold a pen(or something slightly larger). I have not been able to find a light to fit

There s the Fenix ldr15 or maybe a o light Perun I think (there s a mini version) but might still be too large...

Armytek Wizard has the right angle you want. Width is about an inch so a lot thicker than a pen.

On the slipjoint topic for Europeans: I have the utmost respect for the American knife making but, guys do not forget that getting a quality slipjoint in Europe is not hard at all. There is a wast knife tradition in countries like Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Hungary. I collect and EDC traditional Hungarian knives. You can easily order a handmade, custom slipjoint starting form 100€, and shipping is not that expensive. At this price point you can expect quality on par with American made products.

I don‘t know if anyone else has this problem with the Discord server, but everytime i try to join and verify with AltDentifier, it says there was a mistake. It doesn‘t even matter if i try to verify with Twitter, Reddit or KZbin, everytime i get the same message, that there was a mistake. I am really unhappy about that, since i can‘t access the discord.

Hey this is off subject but I’ve been watching your channel for several months now and find your content very cool. I’m a woodworker and part of my EDC often includes a 6’ to 12’ tape measure. I’ve been looking forever to find something a little more ‘attractive’ looking. Most tapes like your Stanley/dewalt/Milwaukee have their branding all over it. I’m looking for something more low profile, less colorful, more metal than plastic to give it that durable feeling. Wondering if you ever include measuring devices in your videos or have come across some more premium looking tools.
