The Nomad with no grips is weird. Originally they said they weren’t adding grips as she has her Airjab Launcher in that slot. Iana then received the Grips fir the ARX, and Nomad still had no grips. However sometime later, Nomad also received grips for the ARX with no mention of it, however the AK hasn’t. So either Nomads ARX having grips is unintentional or if it was, they should add grips to her AK

Ubi: makes shields viable Ubi one season later: throws shields back to the garbage bin My biggest gripe of Ubisoft is that they can never balance/nerf anything properly. They either make things disgustingly OP or so useless that if you pick the operator, the round is now a 4v5. Look at Solis. Not only did they remove the use of the gadget in prep phase (100% agree with) but they also removed the already nerfed impact grenades. So now, you have to run the worst shotgun in the game or bring 0 utility

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The reason they a re struggling to Ballance shields is because they are doing it as a group. Imo fize shield is well balanced, monty could do with the ads change and bliz probably a speed nerf . But they keep balancing them like they are the same operator.

Ive never seen someone try so hard to not say shield are broken, you can fuckin orxy dash with a shield, not to mention how fast they are now and you reload beind them.... BROKEN. Also idk if this is just console but knifing a sheild does absolutely nothing half the time

I’ve also noticed a couple of other changes in siege, the shotgun for kapkan, fenrir got nerfed to 26 damage from 50. Also nokks shotgun got a damage buff too, so I guess they’re doing a couple of sneaky changes

I know 3/4 or more of the siege community has absolutely NO idea about guns so here’s a little lesson. Bucks shotgun attachment that is VISIBLY under his barrel, is an under barrel attachment. Nomads is mounted on the SIDE of her gun, similarly to the laser sight, always allowing the space for grips on her guns. It’s just Ubisoft is retarded.

The properties of the gun attachments are not supposed to be realistic, although tbh maybe it could actually decrease the reload time irl by making it easier to hold the gun while reloading. Almost no one hip fired any weapon, so the laser was pretty useless and given the fact that the enemies could actually see it was the worst attachment in the game. That’s why they decided to modify its properties so you gain a boost in ads speed, but if you were also using the old version of angled grip then you would be able to ads like in cod which is pretty unrealistic so they changed the angled grip properties in a way that you gain a boost in reload time, which, as I mentioned above, may be actually realistic.

3:05 I want to point out that the animation for grabbing them looks like the OG Drone Grab animation from when the game first released. Also I'm so excited to play Casual maps again seriously. It was so depressing when they decided to axe the Casual playlist and then removed the Casual maps from Standard. Quick Match left a bad taste in the mouth of the casual community. Hopefully they'll give Hostage & Secure Area their own playlist soon as the Quick Match settings make it where you don't have proper time to setup. There are plenty of fun sites to hold in those gamemodes too.

Y9S1 was a huge update and there's still some tweaking needing to be done, so new blood is really just "Here's a viable and better recruit, and a crapload of QOL changes" AND we are getting night maps back, and stadium alpha. This update has similar content to Y8S3 which added ram, changed tower, and tweaked stuff. No one complained then, why complain now?
