What i'm confused on is what do you do with the leftover lace? I see that you don't tie it like you normally would. Do you just leave them in your shoe and under your feet?

I do thus, in all retro J's, air max , any shoe....take extra lace and slightly raise insole on each side. Make sure to hit the "sweet spot " so you don't feel it under your foot, or have excess around ankle area. Push insole back flat & VOILA!!!
