It does seem crazy. Can't tell if everyone just wants to play with their new toys, or Zard is just going to storm back with such a wide and unpredictable meta since it knows what it does.

As a Raging Bolt player, the moment I know that my opponent is using Charizard EX, I'll just forget everything else and focus on setting up my Cornerstone Ogerpon. Once it starts swinging there's nothing much Zard can do. So yeah Charizard is having a real tough time currently.

@@orcasocute I've been surprised most people haven't been doing that. I even run up against people who have it in the deck, but don't take the time to set it up. They either already have 6 prizes of EXs on the field, so you can gust around it, or they just discard it. It's weird.

Ive played Regidrago with Dragapult ex as a support for apex dragon attack, but playing by dragapult itself is cool. Control decks are starting to rise up on recent tourneys, but good thing there are few counters against them for as long as you dont overdo your deck.

Dragapult Pidgeot is legit. Absolutely slammin with this deck. Definitely prefer over Xatu.

Its perfect, but i think u need to add a radiant charizard for the hawlucha, so u got a late game one pricer. Also it helps out in the raging bolt matchup.

Maaaaan I really don't love that control is so relevant. I understand it's a way to play the game.... It just sucks man.. 😭 and I can't bring myself to play it cuz I know what it feels like to not be able to play the game. Kinda feels like you're wasting your time. So I can't ever bring myself to do that to my opponent. It is what it is tho 😅

Lugia is that deck where you hop on and get the double archeops 2-3 games in a row, think it’s bdif but when you get that one game where you never get archeops you feel like it’s the shittiest, most inconsistent deck out there.

350 dmg is possible turn 1 with bolt not max 280

Yeah 350 is the goal. Theoretically you could also have x2 bolt, x3 mask, x1 anything; for sada getting 2 nrg, 3 grass on mask, and 1 from hand hitting 420

Can the energy cards be from any set or only current packs for the format?

Basic energy cards are “timeless”. You can use any fire 🔥 energy from any set in your decks. The special energies do rotate through.

What do you mean recycling the legacy energy? I thought it could only be used once.

I think the minus one prize card effect cant be reused but the rainbow energy effect can be, I think thats what he means cuz the Wellspring Ogerpon doesnt discard energy, it moves them back to the deck, so you basically have a rainbow energy always around, so you now can attack with Wellspring Ogerpon or even with Lumineon
