One of my best shipwrecks is the Zenobia in Cyprus. Simply amazing. You have got everything you like inside that ship. You can even practice technical diving

Finally, a video with examples. I liked simply scuba better a few years ago when it was filmed in the store with both of you. I never missed one.

Hard to get to anymore but CV3 Saratoga in Bikini Atoll is far and above all of the wrecks you mentioned. Technical diving wonderland.

Great list, another great one is the SS President Coolidge. I had the pleasure to snorkel over it (I only had a Junior Open Water license, so I couldn't dive it), and wow!

You are correct with being unable to penetrate the Yongala. As such, a lot of the hard core wreck divers in Queensland don't rank the Yongala overly highly. It's certainly decent in regards to the coral and sea life, but you can't even swim under the bow for a closer look because of bubbles touching the wreck. And as an extra bit of trivia, it was actually carting gold and wool. So when they blew an extra hole to salvage the gold, they were diving in clouds!

Check out the Tokai maru and the SMS Cormoran off Guam. Two ships from two world wars that are actually touching each other.

Scapa Flow is still on my bucket list. There is a multitude of impressive shipwrecks, as the complete remaining German Imperial Fleet was brought there in 1918 and scuttled itself so the vessels wouldn't be handed over to the Royal Navy. That was done, by the way, by opening the sea valves, not by blowing them up, as they had no explosives onboard anymore. There was no explosion in the engine room.

The president Coolidge in Vanuatu. Awesome wreck, awesome story. Slightly deep though. And close to that another interesting dive site 'million dollar point', sort of a wreckage place, also with a great story attached to it. Both a must do for divers interested in wrecks.

I was fortunate to dive the SS Thistlegorm last July, and fortunately only one boat on the wreck but with 30 divers total. The second dive was in a strong current, however that is when we planned the penetration dive, so not too much of an issue. I also did four dives on the SS Yongala, and yes no penetration to avoid air bubbles adding to the decomposition of the wreck. An exciting ride out and lots of swell. I saw more liv coral per square meter on the Yongala than on the GBR further north off Cairns. Another great wreck in the Med to dive is the Zenobia, well within recreational limits too but advanced deco possibilities to get down to 40m and play around in the trucks .... avoid playing with the eggs though I've dived some great wrecks off Jeddah in Saudi Arabia back in the 90s, some really amazing dives there too. The Liberty wreck at Tulumben in Bali is overrated and far too busy as divers practically outnumber the marine life the last time I was there four years ago. Port Phillip Bay off Melbourne has an amazing number of wrecks, but definitely drysuit diving like Scapa but not as cold.
