Good video! I would pin some money on there, using safety pins. For my graduation I just made ribbon roses, and they were also attached using safety pins. 😊😊😊 To attach money, I would look at tutorials how to make fan shaped butterflies and safety pin them. So cute. For a masculine graduate, just roll up snd pin them in, or make fans!

I'm probably not paying attention, but could you please clarify how long each of the 4 ribbons should be...total 6 yds per color or 6 yds each roll? Thanks. I'm making a high school graduation lei for 6'2" young man.

Hiii!❣️ 6 yards per ribbon. The (satin) rolls from Dollar Tree are exactly 6 yards worth of ribbon on each roll. So I was sharing that you could simply use one entire roll instead of cutting. Since your graduate is a little taller, you may want to go to Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, Walmart, etc and purchase rolls with more length. Using 6.5-7 yards per ribbon to make sure it’s long enough for him. Congratulations to him 🎓

Hi Jennie! Yes, it’s possible to connect the ends to make a necklace. Just be mindful of the lengths that you’re using. If your pieces are 5 yards, they’ll be better suited for elementary/prek grads. 6+ yards is suitable for middle/high school and even college depending on height. Any persons over 5’10 you’ll need a minimum of 7yrds per piece to be safe. Hope this helps! -TJ
