So, I have literally tried ALL FIVE recipes and my goodness. This is gold. It does take a little more time than your traditional go-to, but with those staples you tend to make the same thing over and over. Actually following a recipe gives you so much options flavour wise! I would say my favourite is the 🍇 Black Forest Cake one, but I was most surprised with how yum the 🍓 Strawberry Cheesecake was. Thanks PUL team for this fantastic video and the new website looks bomb too 🔥

For the newbies to OO..... if you buy the wide mouth jars they are much easier to wash and assemble. Also after eating add a squirt of Dawn to the empty jar and a cup of water, add lid and shake, this makes it way easier to wash. I have some fat, squatty pint jars that I love.

Thank you for the inspiration. I took your lead and created a version to suit my preferences and OMG, it is surprisingly delish. I fill/layer an 8 oz wide mouth jar with 1 tbsp jam, 1/4 cup rolled oats, 1 tbs oat bran, 1 tbs teff, diced fresh fruit, 1/4 cup cashew milk and a sprinkle of finely diced nuts. I don’t mix the ingredients and it comes out perfect anyway. The layers make a lovely presentation, the jam adds just the right amount of sweetness and the cashew milk makes it rich and creamy without having to add nut butter. So DELISH! Thank you!!!

I’ve always done my own Black Forest oats recipe! Mine is frozen cherries (I only know one supermarket to get them easily here so I can get why that’s not always accessible) and I use oats with cacao for a bitter darker chocolate taste maybe even cacao nibs if you’ve got them. And ideally a thick kind of yoghurt on top- I also think that oat milk is best to give it a kind of baked goods cake sort of flavour.

Lovely suggestions, as usual! I’m not a breakfast person but overnight oats is my favourite midday snack. To me soyghurt is essential to good overnight oats, I think it needs the tartness. I use oats and then use 50/50 plant based milk and soyghurt. I’ll then usually add some frozen blueberries or raspberries, some sort of sweetener (I’m partial to xylitol), maybe some lemon juice, some sort of seed (sunflower’s cheap, chia or poppy’s good too, or nuts of any kind!), salt and sometimes a bit of cardamom and/or vanilla. If I happen to have some I’ll add a bit of plant based protein powder too. Leave it in the fridge overnight and eat as is or serve with sliced banana. It’s so filling and sooo good!
