I actually JUST started making a tevesh Szatt and rograkh deck built around sacrificing rograkh and playing those cards that bring him back to my hand to play him again, and I’ve had a really fun time just building it! It’s been super fun to play test so far, and I’m really excited to sleeve it up and try it out!

cEDH just had a Tevesh / Rograkh stax deck do very well in a tournament, might be worth checking out if you need some ideas for higher level pods. However you build it though I hope you have fun.

My Reyhan, Last of the Abzan/Sakashima of a Thousand Faces partner deck is probably my favorite deck to play. It basically just plays all the best clones, counter doublers, reyhan/ozolith, and a bunch of great sac outlets like greater good/birthing pod/ruthless technomancer. As soon as you assemble all the pieces, you can start saccing your creatures, multiplying the counters they had each time you place them on a new creature. It's super easy to get 32 counters on Chasm Skulker, sac it to get a ton of little dudes, then move the counters through all of them for crazy amounts of power on the board. Then add in wincons like altar of dementia to one shot mill ppl, Ukkima loaded up with counters to hold the table hostage, or walking ballista to ping everyone to death. Add in some fun nonsense like Gyre Sage + Villainous Wealth and it's the most fun deck I have to play by a country mile.

Krark and tanna, gurl spell slinger? Use green and red pump spells to kill people with commander damage and get double spells with krark , create tons of sapling and kill with purphoros and use spells to pump the team and kill people via a token Strom. Burn people out with Massive Raid and Aria of Flame. Can be a risky deck but there are still ways without blue to break krark 😂

I'm tinkering with a Ravos/Alena deck whose goal is to get out Quintorious/Tormod/Desecrated Tomb and just make a massive army of Spirits/Zombies/Bats via reanimating my creatures or tucking things back in my library with things like Soldevi Digger and Reito Lanturn. Ravos to help pull out creatures and anthem my board and Alena mostly as a mana dork. It's mostly Spirit/Cleric tribal but leans into black a bit for things like Black Market/Phyrexian Reclamation/Living Death.

I regularly play Ishai + Prismatic Piper. Yes, Piper. It's just regular blue/white control, every card is legal within blue or white, so I'm free in my choice of color for Piper. I play lots of "steal my opponents stuff" cards and instead of normal winconditions like Approach of the Second Sun, my poison is Happily Ever After. When there is a missing color on the table, I just let Piper be whatever color is missing. My winrate after casting Piper thusfar and it being relevant to said gamewins is 100%, so it's basically the perfect commander.

Can confirm that Ikra/Prava is a totally fun and fair deck that can do powerful things. I recently picked up a Saproling Symbiosis for it after the dominaria remastered reprint. Lots of good partner combos that I haven't seen at a table before.

I play ich-tekik/Ravos in a golem tribal shell. It is very fun and strong. Also am trying a Malcolm/vial smasher pirates treasure deck. And I am considering building a thrasios/prava tokens matter deck, has anyone experience with this pairing?

My first deck was Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom and Okaun, Eye of Chaos. Coinflip voltron deck is so fun. you're on average not too strong making you not enemy number one for other players at the table. until you have +2/+2 and trample on okaun and get 4 coinflips before combat, leading to you having a 40/40 commander and you just delete an opponent who wasn't even paying attention to you because you weren't a threat. shit it so fun. Because you have theoretically infinite strength. any card that challenges someone to a coinflip is a guaranteed proc on your commanders because anyone has to win a coinflip not just you. If you want a deck thats actually fun and isn't just be a dick and lose friends this is golden

With Ghost of Ramirez and Bruse Tarl, why not run a Zedru/Bazaar Trader package and give your opponents some of those old creatures/enchantments/etc that give your stuff a +0/+1 boost? Give away a couple of those to make Ghost of Ramirez basically unblockable AND some extra card draw from Zedru. The 1 toughness makes it harder to block Ghost of Ramirez and the 0 power means your opponents stuff doesn't get boosted into a bigger threat. Could also throw in Immobilizer Eldrazi to give all your stuff pseudo unblockable.

Heh. A recent deck is Akiri and Miara. Why? Lurrus as companion! Sadly few Mardu elves for Miara, ah well. But I get 3-colors and 2-drops for days. For variety, use friends forever and you can have BRWU with Borna/Wernog/Lurrus. And not exactly a partner, but Jenson Carthalian can be 5 colors with Lurrus as a companion.

My personal pet deck is the Combination of Dargo and Reyhan. It is another Junhd sacrifice deck, but with the point of putting counters exactly where you want to make more later. The deck essentially makes counters a type of currency that an abzhan version wouldn’t be able to move as easily, and Dargo can enact as a one time get-out-of-jail-free counter manipulation in the command zone due to his sacrifice clause. Finally, if you have nowhere better to put all of your counters, Dargo is a 7/5 with trample so you can always just try to go for a buffed version of him for commander damage. The deck had no optimal route the way I designed it and is even more fun Bc of that (it’s essentially a puzzle.) I have no idea how these 2 together only have 5 decks on edh rec Bc they seem like a perfect fit.

I have had this idea for Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Sakashima of a thousand faces. It’s an azorious copy deck with a legends matter subtheme. The goal is to get out yoshimaru,copy it with sakashima, copy the sakashima copying yoshmaru with something else, and just flood the board with an angry tsunami of very good bois

My Esior/Kediss voltron build breaks tables. Cheap equip, plenty of double strike/double damage n extra combats. I dished out 16 commander damage and 96 non combat damage on turn 4 the other day. Raised a few eyebrows 🤣

My parters deck that I’m making a really jank rograkh and keleth, sunmare familiar. I made a mono white counters deck and I’ve made it so I can’t use any equipments unless they gave me counters (besides for swift boots and lighting greaves)

im glad y'all focus on the fairness of cards, because I feel that too many commander players (and content creators) just obsess over obviously busted cards and combos that nobody likes playing against and frankly probably shouldn't exist. that being said wotc has made it apparent that they don't care about balancing or integrity

My partner deck is Tymna Kediss! It’s mardu small stuff and the deck is essentially built around tormented soul! Tymna is fantastic card draw and with the evasion I give her and Kediss can put some real pressure on my opponents life total while giving me a buffer against my life paying effects.

Ive built ikra prava, storm the herd with a trostani on the field is very funny Toggo ardenn - boros land fall where the payoff is putting the all the rocks on something like goblin graveleer Kamahl Alena - ghalta is the synergy Krark eligeth - preordain is draw 6 for 1 mana

One of my favorite decks is Tymna/Keleth Sunmane Familiar. Tymna is obviously good but being in orzhov colors with Keleth makes it into a lifegain +1/+1 counter deck! the deck pops off with Archangle of Thune and True Conviction and Drana, Liberator of Malakir, super fun

It's nothing to do with Commander, basically Modern decks are playing a few "off-color" Triomes and getting to cast it for 1-2 mana every time

A pair I have is Ardenn and Alena. Make huge creatures, but rather than attack, tap your other commander to cast a really big crackle with power. One synergy I recently put in my Ramirez Breeches deck that can also go in Bruse Tarl is liquimetal torque + shenanigans for a vindicate every turn while still getting the card you dredged using Ramirez. Not extremely high powered, but fun.

I have a keskit and ich tek golem tribaly deck that is insanely fun. Play bucknards everflowing purse and marching duodrone to give people treasures, hardened scales, winding constrictor, corpsejack menance ect to make stupid 1/1 counters, and every treasure maker you can get, especially from capenna. Big splashy turn 'em sideways stomp fest that no one has seen before. Now youll be praying someone drops dockside!

I think the most unique partner deck I've built to date is Ikra/Ludevic, built around the various Dark Confidant effects. Both of them even have synergy with the deck too, since some Bob effects deal damage to your opponents. Was it very good? No, it rarely won. But I loved the deck anyway.

One of my favorites to run is vial smasher and kodama. Get vial out quick and start doing damage. Then get kodama out, play your big creatures first, trigger vial smasher, then get the little guys for free.

I play Kodama of the East Tree plus Toggo, Goblin Weapon Smith. I call it Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree. It is a combo deck so isn't fun for some people, but IMO, the combo is super different and goofy and allows you to kill the whole table with infinite Rocks! Gotta admit that's at least more interesting than something like Tainted Pact+Thoracle.

I love my Tana/Nadier deck! Plan A is your normal Elfball strategy. Plan B is token sacrifice value. Giving elves haste with the Red is huge!

I love my Ikra/Prava deck! One thing that's so fun about it is combination of toughness, tokens, and lifegain makes the deck variable, but still in a synergistic way. Sometimes it's a bit of a puzzle to figure out how to play the deck based on your opening hand. You may have A and B, but not C. Or you might have A and C but not B. But the deck still feels strong and fair. Also Ghost of Ramirez Depietro is a really interesting build-around. I have two versions of a Ramirez Depietro/Ravos-Nakey-Boy deck that are both really fun. One version is almost spell-shaper tribal (all the creatures that tap and discard a card to get an effect) and very casual, but once you get your engine going with [[Devout Witness]] and [[Stronghold Machinist]] and the like, it's hard to stop the card-advantage engine. The other version is pretty spikey and almost like Discard/Stax. If you have both the commanders out you can break parity on cards like [[Mindslicer]] and [[Awaken the Erstwhile]]. Even [[Smallpox]] works well. It really is a fun deck to pilot as well, just as long as everyone knows what type of game is going down.

Interesting I just built Slurrk Reyhan it seems really cool I can't wait to try it out. I primarily play conquest which although heavily features combos lets decks that have commanders with big bodies like slurrk to be suprisingly good.

I recently started making my first partners deck... well, technically Friends Forever. I figured with Wernog and Bjorna (that's Will/Lucas for the Stranger Things variants) each being 2 mana i could do some... commander matters stuff. So, in the deck there's all 4 Familiars from Commander Legends, and all 24 Backgrounds in the colours, (most of) the Storms that get copied for each time you've cast a commander, etc. At least, that's the plan, hopefully it works out.

I have an Reyhan and Bruse Tarl deck for a +1/+1-counter & human tribal deck and I love it! It combines the Innistrad Coven Counters humans with some Ikorias humans. Jirina and Nykthos Paragon are busted in this deck :)

One of my favorites would have to be Sidar and Tana, you get to play a ton of double strike and damage multiplication affects to maximize tanas tokens and Sidar gives evasion to allow for easy attacks
