5 Popular Penhaligon's Fragrances For Women [Full Review]

There's a lovely Penhaligon's shop in Bath that I plan to visit next year with a close friend. She has a couple of female/unisex fragrances (but I can't remember which ones) and she always smells so good! She said the service at their boutiques is amazing. I'm used to the basic perfume shops where they have never heard of Dior's Feve Delicieuse or TF Tuscan Leather... I can't wait to test Penhaligon myself! Thanks for the reviews!

Hi Ronald, now that sounds a great plan! With fragrance its all abput the experience. Love Bath, we were there last year in fact. Must be my fave city to visit. my hearts breaks for penhaligon... i ordered a sample set since August and it never arrived... a MILLION emails later,,, still not here.. i just gave up... did not even bother for a refund... and i was soooo excited to smell LUNA.... Love your review guys as always !!!! :)

I have never tried any of the Penhaligon perfumes, but I do love their bottles they’re beautiful. It seems that by your descriptions it could be similar to Creed?

Hello Marybeth! Yes they do share similar DNA to Creed, although I would say Creed has the edge in performance. Well worth checking out the Penhaligon's discovery set if you can get hold of it. Seems to be sold out everywhere now! x

Which of those scents can you recommend for young women? I have been using fruity floral Marc Jacobs scents my whole life and I am a bit afraid that penhaligon scents will not suit me

Hello mrsnoname96! Penhaligon's do lean slightly more towards the mature side, however Luna is a great 'gateway' rose fragrance as it is modern and bright with citrus, yet has beautiful rose heart. I wish they’d give it longer dry down bc after 30 mins to an hour Elizabethan rose is super Woody.

Sorry about that, good point. We had quite a few to get through and filming would take forever so we only usually give 10 minutes. Sometimes we allow 30 mins to an hour if we hear a fragrance takes ages to fully reveal itself.

I have Luna and I compared a sample of it with Diptyque L Ombre Dans Leau, and their similarity is crazy. L ombre dans leau tends to be more greener and citrusy though. I am interested to try The Elisabethan Rose, The Favourite and Equinox Bloom. :)

I agree! I also have luna and compared it with lombre dans leau, giiiiiiiirrrrrrll true!!!! Luna also smells like jadore by christian dior on the dry down also crazy.

Hello @황태주 - Empressa Eau de Parfum is fine for a man, and is marketed a unisex fragrance. To my nose it does lean a little female for the first hour as it begins fruity/woody, but soon becomes more musky (patchouli) and lightly spiced. I would happily wear this as a man, it's classy and refined. You will need to overspray as it does not perform for very long we discovered. Hope that helps 😊 - Andrew
