My 12 month old Redbone coonhound was becoming a lovely, calm adult dog. Then I had her spayed. I am sitting here crying because it completely changed her, she is back to acting like a difficult adolescent crazy dog. The dynamic between her and my 10 year old, neutered Welsh Terrier has completely changed. They played before the spay and now he attacks her. RESEARCH BEFORE SPAYING YOUR DOG. I never had a female dog, and never had this problem after neutering my male dogs.

I'm also suffering and crying I made one of my street dog nuetered, now she's suffering from skin hematomas, it's her fourth surgery this time , I cannot see her in pain , I'm on guilt , why I made her suffer like that ,

A 12 month old IS a crazy adolescent. Mine is 13 months and crazy. That is typical.

@@rupalsethi5361We're taught to believe whatever we keep hearing from each other and to not consider things independently of the "mob" we are surrounded by-whatever they're saying around us. Even in veterinary medicine, where there is a basis with science however most veterinarians merely and blindly rubber stamp whatever is the rhetoric among their colleagues and mentors.

It doesn't matter if it's veterinary medicine or something else, you should always be hesitant to do whatever someone's pressuring you to do, when if that person pressuring you is going to be paid BY YOU -if they sell you on the idea they're trying to sell you on.

So sorry to know your dog is dying. Very sad. My dog is in her heat cycle & vets always try to get me to have her spayed saying it will prevent breast cancer & after reading your comment it has made me think twice even more than I already was about getting her done. I really do not want to but the pressure from vets is unbelievable.

I have a question if I may, is there any connection between neutering and the onset of allergies. My pet Basset Hound was rescued at the age of two and I had him neutered. Shortly thereafter, he developed chronic itching and licking of his paws and incessant scratching. My vet said that there is no association between neutering and the onset of allergies. She prescribed apoquel which has had a minimal effect. While doing research on the matter, I found that in humans, hypogonadal males can develop rather significant allergies. Can this apply to dogs?

You must be suprised that so much similarities between dog and human, that's why some humans do drugs, cosmetics, eye drops, etc experiments with dog for human's consumptions. As a human's MD who also have a female dog, i choose OSS for my dog and _if_ i have a male dog i will choose vasectomy. Traditional spaying and castration are risky, many studies already proof that the disappearance of gonadal hormone will make other hormones became imbalance and created another diseases. Spay Incontinence is just one of example, just as human - when female dogs lost their oestrogen the involuntary urethral spincter and bladder muscles will no longer could hold them for unconscious urinating.

I saw a connection between vaccines and allergy but never from a neuter/spay. This is my third dog having allergies the day after their vaccines and its not even the same breed🤦I will never give all vaccines again. Only the one that are primary like rage, parvo..

Iam Indian Kerala.My pet golden retriever male 3years, problem is heavy hair falls like any thing. Used somany tonicsomega3 as advised by vet surgen. Cud u advise any effective medicine for this. Tku.

My baby has unusual stool, not eating her kibbles, and is vomiting. What’s disheartening is that the clinic is closed and I hate waiting to have her seen and suffer. This is too much.

My dog is in heat right now & it is her third cycle at 1.7 months of age. I am not getting her spayed. Made my mind up now even though the vets are always trying to force this on me to get her done.

Any parent letting a kid at any age V have a gun is nuts and parent should go to jail to!! Also , no 13 yr old should be serious about a girl!! That is driven by the media and programming , !!! Normal 13 yr old boys do not think like that!
