PGI should add the ability to press and button and have your ally's loadout appear on the hud next to their mech. Especially with all of the specialized weapons (normal, pulse, heavy, ER) that look identical on your mech.

Changed out AC 20 and replaced with Rotary AC 5, upgrade to Target comp# 2, and ANOTHER Double heat sink! much more fun!

Agreed on the strikes parts, strikes are really annoying right now, a simple fix would be to greatly increase it's global cooldown so it isn't spammed by the team in such a short amount of time. Strikes are free damage with no slot or weight restrictions and costs next to nothing since playing 1 match already overcomes the cost and majority of people don't even actively dodge them because they're too concerned with being shot by the enemy. Alot of the times you can't even see the smoke anyway because it's behind you or behind a hill or something. Just my 2 cents.

problem with the banshee S is its about 20-30% less agile than the other banshees in terms of torso twist and aceel/decel

5J, 5H, and 5P. I actually use the 5J the most due to current LURM spam and it's double AMS to keep the team alive. I think it was the 5P I bought because of the PPC quirks it used to have. But now I'm a bit lost with what to do with them. In many ways a Black Knight seems better as a Wub boat, same with the pure LaZor Roughneck with its super high mount points.

3 lpl 4/5 ermlas or mlas is what I've run on them since day one and they work for me, can also do a lot of mpl if you want to

I chuckle when folks say High Damage is everything. Pinpoint head shots would be the most effeciant kills and next to no damage done.

I'm curious...have you noticed that the Battlemasters are now much more useful with the new Tech? Heavy PPCs, ERMedLas, and MRMs are some of the more interesting things that can be done!

Yeah, kinda. The 1G and 2C have never not been meta, they just got even stronger because of the LFE and ERMLs. My Hellslinger seems to like MRM50 and 4x ERML. The other two BLRs are still mediocre, just due to lackluster quirks.

Join a team? Some of the teams playing in the tournament last year set up actual positions, including defenses. Defense doesn't seem to work in PUGs, but if you have a real, coordinated team it seems to still be viable in MWO. And every once in a while you'll see some of the MWO video channels showing some traps.

I have noticed a lack of good games as well, either we get rolled or we roll over them? I bought a King crab and I haven't had a game over 300 dmg with it. It's really discouraging. :(

Sunny Hill King Crabs have an incredibly large center torso that is easy to core out. If you want a great reliable Assault Mech, go with the Marauder IIC. Incredible Mech! The MAD-IIC-A and the MAD-IIC are the best variants.

nothing to do with his loadout just the chassis itself is pretty trash anymore. big, tall, side, and squishy. Other assaults seem to take a beating and keep going but the banshe, just melts. Reason you never seem them played.

They have trouble, that's for sure. They are very big and don't get armor or structure. The bonus agility isn't really enough to keep you alive. And the 5 large pulse meta build gets nerfed every patch

Banshees were the only assault chassis I managed to feel comfortable in. But it took a while. I had to learn how to torso twist properly. This chassis doesn't forgive it if you don't. Sometimes when I played in a team I was occasionally used as shield in pushes. I twisted like a madman and it was incredible how much of a beating I could take. Of course I don't know if this is still the case. Haven't played it for 9 months.

A simple fix to strikes IMHO: make each one 100K C-bills and scale up the cooldown the more strikes the team uses (i.e. 30 seconds after the first use, then 40 seconds after the next use, then 50 seconds after the third use and so on....). That way, it serves its intended purpose (preventing camping one spot for too long) and still becomes less spam-able than it is now.

lol, I ran a similar build on my Banshee 3S for a while, but with some bigger targeting computer and an U-AC10 instead of 20, all achieved wit ha slower 325 LFE. It's a nice build nontheless and it's good that someone gives the banshees some love. If youre doing badly, and I was when I recently returned to MWO, it doesn't move much at all. Now that I'm winning more than losing again, and doing well enough in the losses to either go even or sometimes even go up. Its much faster. Its about doing well even in losses(and carrying the wins) that speeds the process up, but its like molasses if you don't.

"i'm struggling to find good games cause players aren't playing as a team these days", well its not these days cause its always been a bit like that in QP, also they have increased the threshold for Tier assignment in QP apparently so potato games should decrease, or maybe people in higher tiers just want to do it their way after all and having high tier guys doesn't help that and finally the other team was presumably tier 1-2 also........and they weren't so teamy.

the recent changes made the pug queue better as the matchmaker should be going +-1 of your level. In theory tierl 3 can be matched with tier 2-4

right, Baradul is tier 1 so theoretically he shouldn't get tier 3 or lower which is my point about teamwork, i would expect the team skills of tier 1 and 2 players to be superior to tier 4 and 5 so this should be improving
