good day to you Barry !! thanks for answering the Grandad's allotment 5 Q&A Tag + 5 pass it on shout outs !! awesome answers !! fantastic nominations !! with the hundred hour candles you need to use solid vegetable shortening and a old fashioned white candle, the one from the pound shop for ten. fill the jar with the melted veg shortening and allow to cool until semi solid, then push the candle in to the bottom of the jar !! i think the gardening disaster tag is a great idea

cheers Simon will sort a few candles the morn, to be fair when a think about it although not made correctly it still worked to a point to only go that low temp wise with the start of the "beast from the east" my recorded outside temp outside over them few nights was a few degrees different ;-)

Nice one. I like the idea of the gardening disasters question. No building sandcastles on that beach...

Crazy weather. In Finland the farmers are already talking about crop failure cos there is so much snow on the ground. The migratory birds flew in saw the amount of snow said bugger that and flew away again.

What I would not grow again is salsify... they said it was a gourmet veg, but all it was was a hairy flavourless pencil... Oh and chickpeas is another... you get a pod with a couple of chickpeas in it. A waste of spance and time.

Just subbed your channel today. The video of the light house is priceless. Adam - Allotment Grow How - has a great channel. I wish I had pictures from my garden disaster. I would definitely participate. It's all about experimenting and learning. Have a great today and I look forward to your channel updates. Catherine
