I have locs too, I just wanted to tell you to refrain from using rubber bands in your hair it will break it off, instead use those scrunchie elastic things it will prevent the damage. In the video I I think I mentioned that I don't normally use rubber bands, but I couldn't find any of my scrunchies, so for the sake of the vid I used the rubber bands. But I don't normally use them! They pull my hair 😩

tip on the two thinning side dreads. .combine them with theoon thats closest to them. by two string twisting them together and africa string wraping them..

In the same regard you could try and say they aren't "locks" because our hair "makes us free". Either way, it doesn't matter to me. I absolutely loveeeee my hair. It is one of my favorite things about me. No matter what I call it, nothing will change that for me. And I think it's cool you feel that way about it. I respect different opinions.
