If a lizard bites you, you have a split second to free yourself by throwing a rock or spear point-blank at it.

Gourmand will also NEVER get instakilled by a lizard bite and will always have an opportunity to escape (Except from reds) And Saint will ALWAYS get instakilled by every lizard type.

It depends also on if the lizard kills you with it's bite. The bite lethality is a percentage based chance system.

I love how the only way to progress is by actually being good at the game, no buying upgrades or pay to win, simply playing untill you’re good enough to move on and it’s hilarious watching my older sibling who I’ve always hailed as the best at video games absolutely FAIL at this game and I just zoom through with his body like nothing happened 😂

Here’s my own tip, as I got used to the game it’s really helped me to start learning some neat tricks to travel more quickly by combing slides flips and rolls, the faster you become a acrobatic the better!

One more tip, if you "die" pay attention to the sounds of the death screen. You can be saved by other animals if caught by something. 1 vine boom sound = incapacitated. 2 vine boom sounds = dead.

@@sp4cef0rc37 lol, in my experience i was entirely guided by twitch chat. i had a friend play it for their self for the first time recently tho, and the overseer guided em to moon. seems weird to me, since you can’t talk to her at that point so 99% of players just end up killing her accidentally. shouldn’t the overseer guide you to pebbles instead?

But after finding her the overseers lead you to pebbles, who then tells you where you need to go by talking about a region you've probably never heard about if you follow overseer.

Tip 1: Learn

An advanced tip: when a lizard opens its mouth, you can actually fire a spear through it to do massive damage and stun the lizard for an extended amount of time. Use it in conjunction with a slide, since throwing spears while sliding makes the spear trajectory slightly downwards providing the ability to score the surefire kill for most lizard species (you can wail on the fleshy backside for like 2 seconds straight)

Another tip is to play with others and if you combine artificer and spear master you get a good amount of explosive spears. But when you combine this with the popcorn plant you have a infinite stock of them

While backflip + spears are hard to learn for new players, getting used to movement techs is VITAL. Corner boosting in pipes (intuitive), belly sliding and rolling+pouncing, proper swimming rhythm...

Hi there! Hunter is one of the hardest campaigns of the game, but also really fun due to its difficulty and "speedrun" alike. After 15-20 attempts or more I managed to beat it +10 cycles left. My tips are: -if you are not quite agressive yet, try to level up your game skills a bit: fighting, wall jumping, bouncing, backflipping, slide spear, etc. Arena mode and KZbin are your best friends. -Plan your route: you have just 20 cycles so you have to know exactly where to go through the entire map. Also important where to shelter, mostly coz echoes spawn you in the latests shelter you were. I know there are no established route, but mine was Echoes route: From farms arrays to →Sky Isl: 1 do the echo starving strat to not waste extra cycle. 2 take some mushrooms for the larger jumps from the end of the map. →chimney c: get a bulture mask from the very beginning of the map. You won't regret it. Pick echo. →the wall/5P: my tip is to shelter to the one closest to the gate you came from. 2 to save some cycles, once you get + - to the up half of the wall, there's no rain menace so no need to hibernate until the very last shelter of 5P. Yeah bit risky but you have all the day for that ;) 3 eat at least one neuron fgs! NOT green neuron!! 4: 5P gives you 5 extra cycles! →under h/leg: quite tough, but don't give it up, the gate to go to shaded citadel requests the lowest karma. →shaded cit: pick echo. Make sure to have at least 3rd karma level to enter to: →shoreline: go to Lttm... I believe 4 echoes are enough to beat the game but I'm not sure. Then go shoreline to: →subterranean: once in, 3 cycles left are quite enough. At least 2 to get to the depths. For myself I think I had one fast travel and I went from shore to get farms echo and then the subterranean one from the western entrance. Or I decided to go get the subterranean one I don't remember... Then I did my way to filtration system. * For me the most important thing about this run is not dying until you reach the wall, always picking both echoes. Maybe max one time before going to the wall, and also get the bulture mask may be a pain in the ass. I always grind like 8 to 10 spikes that leave at the exit of the western chimney gate (the one next to the shelter) to rape one while I get off its jaws going in and out of the pipe (yeah scrub tactics 4ever lol) Well, quite enough.
