Tip: regularly clean drains with baking soda and vinegar (pour baking soda then vinegar let sit overnight) Also vinegar and baking soda paste on your shower floors brings the white back! Just be sure to scrub the paste and let sit for awhile (2-4 hours). It might take a couple of cleanings to get your white shower base looking new but it’s sooo worth it! When you change out your old baking soda from your fridge/freezer don't toss it put it down your drain and chase it with vinegar. Run some really hot water before and after or boil a kettle of hot water and pour that down it. Also when you clean your drains also clean your spigot. I keep an old toothbrush in the dishwasher at all times. It's great for cleaning spigots out because you don't have to unscrew anyting. Just run some hot water for a couple minutes then take the toothbrush and push the bristles up into the spigot where the water comes out. Each time you pull the bristles out turn on the water to flush out the stuff that you've loosened up. Repeat this until the water runs clear. You'll be surprised at what comes out.

Before Covid-19, didn't think much about "Shopping".. Just went to the store got what I needed than went home. Put it way. Never thought about where an item had traveled. Where it had been or Whose touched it. Now, I wear gloves, and I pick up what I need. Get home, As I don't have a garage (Apt Living) I have a designated area for my purchases in my apt. I carefully separate my bags by the area I will be putting the stuff way. I take the items out of the bag, wipe them down with wipes and put away. I even remove certain items from their package and put away. I have a garbage bag next to me to dispose of wipes, containers and grocery bags and take them out to the garbage. Than I clean and disinfect the area I used. And than I wash my hands with soap for 20 seconds. Hand Cream has become my new friend. As for "Gas Pumps" I wear gloves and have my wipes. I wipe the pump handle, outter door knob, open door remove gloves, wipe inner door knob, close car door, wipe steering wheel another wipe for my hands. Dispose of wipes n gloves in my small trash can in my car. (It is emptied when I get home) As I am immunocompromised I am very mindful now. I did not think of myself as immunocompromised until Covid-19. I am a 7 yr breast cancer survivor and a type 1 diabetic. As well as a seasonal and plant asthmatic. Now I think twice because we All need to be more careful. Stay Safe and Stay Healthy...

I repurposed my laundry detergent bottle with the squirt pump into a hand wash station. I keep this full of water in my car and carry a bottle of liquid soap. No it is not odd that you worry about touching the pump. As a matter of fact I always did wear gloves (pre covid) at the "ugly teller" and gas pumps. Now I look somewhat normal. Lol thank you for the great content. Stay safe.

Chad is such a great actor 😂 For the toothbrush, I always wipe the handle with a towel after using it so that resolves the problem with a nasty toothbrush holder

Hi Melissa and crew. Is it a bad idea to put vinegar into your toilet tank? I was watching a video about using vinegar in the toilet cistern - but they're not cleaning professionals who research things before they tell us we can do it. Therefore: is it safe to use vinegar in the toilet cistern? Will it wreck my water intake parts?

I have always been one to overly clean and sanitize, however since the pandemic I now make sure that I am disinfecting all grocery items I bring into the house.

I hadn’t thought much about gas pumps before the pandemic. Now, though, I wear a glove on one hand and use only that hand for touching the keypad, grade selection, and pump handle. My other hand holds the payment card.

I use a pint Mason jar as a tooth brush holder so at least once a week I switch it for a clean jar, putting the dirty one in the dishwasher.

Love your videos and excited for your new channel. What is the best way to dispose of used coffee grains from a cafetière? Thank you 😊

Rideshare drivers: This is why reviews are so important with this. If you experience a non perfectly clean vehicle, write a review about that. It's literally part of the job description to keep their vehicles consistently clean. I literally kept a handvac in my car and would vac after every client if I had even 2 minutes of wait time. I'd risk waiting another 30sec to not contract anything from even one bad review regarding cleanliness on a driver

I didn't pay attention to sanitizing wipes at gas stations or grocery stores until this pandemic.... but now I'm changed

For me it’s the parking station ticket dispenser at the car entry . I always use a tissue to press the button to get my ticket . So many fingers have touched that button eehhh!!!

To answer your question "What's dirtier than a toilet seat?" A toilet bowl...
@thislittletribeofmine104 жыл бұрын
The handle! I think the bowl most goes down the drain... so my guess is the handle.

A kitchen sink, most people clean their toilet with bleach products however most don’t do a full clean of a sink with a Sanitiser or bleach products.

All door handles 🤦🏻♀️ and pedestrian crossing buttons. I've been using elbows to press handicap door buttons, and/or carry tissue to open doors.... Pre covid, I was leery about door handles... But now, I refuse to touch them. Ever.

Gas pumps...now I'm suddenly glad I'm in New Jersey (we don't pump our own gas here!)

What is the thing called that you used to scrub the sides of the drain?
@benitoaguilar36484 жыл бұрын
I was always mindful of gas pumps, even pre covid I wore gloves and used wipes on the pumps and machine. Pre covid people use to look at me a bit weird at the pump now I see more people than not doing the same thing 😂

You should never leave you toothbrush out in a bathroom. Even if you close the toilet lid aresolized 💩 and urine travel all over the bathroom to include your tooth brush. Towels too!

The thing that gets my attention now is shopping carts. There are disinfectant wipes at the entrance of the store so a-wiping I do go. Never even thought about gas pumps but, yeah, that's up there with carts. Yuck

Light switch, toilet, steering wheel, door handle for vehicles and the window switch, diaper garb cans and really any garb can, fridge handles, stove handles and filters for your vents in your home. Those are my guesses what you may mention. As a mom virtual schooling ill add, computer and chromebook keyboards, earplugs and remote controls for tv! Thanks kids 😘

I no longer use tooth brush holder, another youtuber gave the tip of laying it down on a small washable towel. So I do and switch it out at least weekly. So much less cleaning to do.
