Technically incorrect, non of the above i.e HP Power, IOCL Xtra Premium or BP Speed are higher in octane number. All are 91 in Octane Number. After BS4, every petrol pump switched to 91 Octane rating fuel as standard. So the only difference in Power is that it has detergent which keeps the engine clean. Also with a compression ratio below 10, you would never need anything beyond 91. So Power 95, 99 or 100 is not required for Honda Hornet.

Normal petrol is more than enough for bikes with lower compression ratio. 200 n sub 200 cc only KTM bikes have high compression ratio i.e if your bike compression ratio is 1:10 n higher go with power petrol or else go with normal petrol else it'll cause engine problem in long run as fuel doesn't get burnt completely n as a result smoke out may become more... I have a hornet 2.0 n it's compression ratio is about 1:9 so normal petrol is fine

You should have received a owners manual user guide when you purchased your bike i request you to open the page no. 96 and read the fuel recommend section Honda has recommended fuel to use : 91 Rating Octane Number (RON) or Higher i am only following the guidelines by honda and whatever the benefits i have got by using the standard petrol or Higher petrol RON just shared with you guys i hope you got the point. When you look the fuel recommend section 🙏

Higher octane petrol is beneficial only when your bike has high compression ratio .... If it's not high then dear brother your simply wasting money as it's a waste n fuel remains unburnt ..... higher octane matlab higher burning time par 4 stroke samjho Bhai exhaust stroke me unburnt fuel rahega to exhaust se dua aayega bus...
