I used to have one cheap cort made of basswood with 2 humbuckers. Everything was cheap in it so I replaced almost everything. Also the rod broke so it had to be fixed. I was upgrading this guitar only because of the quality of the wood which was surprisingly good. Great sustain and lots of action good for heavy riffs and some lighter sounds. I have replaced stock humbuckers with Merlin Hellfire at the bridge and P94 at the neck. It was strange combination but quite versatile even though the pickups didn't match each other with the switch in the middle position. Unfortunatelly I had to sell it. However the guitar was sold to French guitarist who was seeking for some inspiring tone (I ive in Poland). As far as I know his intention was to use it for album recording. I wish I asked for his name so I could find if he used it for this purpose.

Love my KX507MS and I also have a G290 fat which is super cool as a non-metal oriented guitar. Both are amazingly finished and play great

Played g100 model with 2 humbuckers, i was shocked how good it was, action was like 1.5mm with no dead frets, for a 150bucks its amazing

Well, they sound amazing not only just because you're an amazing player. But tone and everything else sounds good. Honestly, don't care what my guitar looks like. As long as it sounds great.

Honestly, I don't care what my guitar sounds like, as long as it looks great. Most guitars after a certain price point can be changed a lot anyway if you use digital sound. Also I am not that picky about sound. Cort guitars however, along with Schecter ones indeed do sound good, and I like their designs the most, so it is a win-win for me.

@twothreeoneoneseventwoonef7302 Yeah, I can understand that but I am 100% blind. And using digital sound and effects is a bit more complicated for me than most. So as long as my guitar sounds good. I really don't care what it looks like. Lol. But to each their own, I don't judge.

I had the chance to shred on a KX model at a local guitar center a few months back. I might have to go buy one because it was honestly one of the best feeling guitars I’ve ever played. Coming from the owner of a few nicer Ibanez/ schecter guitars, I HIGHLY recommend a Cort KX

I received X700 duality 2 in polar ice last week. For the money it's worth checking out if you're looking for a "jack of all trades" guitar! However, you may wanna replace the original plastic nut with graphtech xl tusq nut for better tuning stability. Mine broke XS strings immediately after restinging and tuning the guitar after couple of licks and riffs. And those strings I put were not cheap... P.S. I ordered this guitar last month and received the first one with a terrible qc and the pickups didn't work properly. The second one had better qc overall and I was very happy about it. Be aware that the guitars you order may not be as good as what Jamie played in the video.

I have a Harley Benton Fusion first iteration model that I'm 99% sure was made in the Cort factory. Plays really nice and is beautifully made. However I've wanted a super strat with a body route for the trem to allow for a larger range, as well as a H-H config since the middle single coil just gets in the way for me, and what do I find but a Cort G300 Pro demo unit for $550? I couldn't resist placing an order, can't wait to play it!

1. prs, ibanez, schecter, even fender (squier) some of their models are made at cort factory. so you know now who cort is. 2. cort guitars are made for the price. great quality low price. you just need 2 reasons and you just cant go wrong with cort 😅

PRS SE's are as much a 'peasant' guitar as any similarly priced Cort, PRS SE's are manufactured in the cor-tek factory. Actually there's a better than fair chance that any guitar from a reputable brand made in Indonesia was manufactured by cor-tek.

My Dude! thanks for this, I am looking at picking up another guitar (much to the dismay of my wife, I warned her when we got together, I collect guns, cars and guitars) I have been looking into makers I have not had yet experience with.
