I am an American and I want to get married to a Mexican resident. We have heard that there is a long process before she can cross when we get married or if she crosses she will not be able to go back to visit for like 7 years. How do we avoid these types of restrictions? We want to be together as soon as possible but she also wants to be able to visit her family. What’s your advice.

Your going to need to file still 😢and wait and mean time you can just keep visiting her until you hear something it will be the waiting game and once you do marry her in her country all of that needs to be submitted

Hi Darian! I have the following question. I applied for adjustment of status based on marriage with the U.S. citizen in March of 2022. I still haven’t gotten approval of my I-485 form, although the sponsorship form (I-131) has been approved. In July 2022 it will be 3 years since we got married. If by that time my I-485 form will still be pending, can I still apply for citizenship?

Your clock does not start counting down to sign up for citizenship until you get you green card. If it has not been approved yet. I wouldn’t apply for citizenship just yet. You might just waste you money. The I-131 is not the affidavit form that is a travel document for advance parole. The I-864 is the affidavit of support.

Yes, your 3 years does not begin until your I-485 has been approved. The good news is that your marriage will be older than 2 years when you eventually get your green card and therefore the green card will not be conditional.

Hello sir I got married I am a usa citizen I married my husband here in New york adjust status we did concurent filing we got married June 15 2022 and filed for everything July 22 we received all the reciept notices.then we received a rfe and dead line was oct 12 2022 I send it and they received it in August I send it before deadline. My husband never received his ead or travel document he had to pay to get emergency advance parole my father n law got real sick. I just don't understand why he never got his ead or travel document and june 15 is 2 yrs it will be that we got married. I don't know what's going on

Nice Information. It would be very good of you to let us know regarding filing I-751, the USCIS mentioned to give federal and state tax return . Tax accountant gave the tax return client file which include all.Should we submit the client tax return file given by tax accountant or should we submit the tax return receipt from IRS ? Moreover IRS has not state tax return and how to get state tax return sir? and lastly Money order of biometric and filing should be separate or together sir?

Same case I'm denied for my greencard application bcoz of my husband income and only give me 30 days to appeal if I don't appeal I will be deported to Phillipines, I'm sad bcoz I don't want to be divorced.But if we appeal I don't know if it will be approved bcoz my husband is still the same.
