Does anyone else have this problem in multi-player where the race just starts without the countdown starting so u get held back like 5+ seconds? I wish that would be fixed

Yes, they said switch, ps4, xbox one are out of date with the system needed to run the game. It's something they said they most likely won't be able to fix.

To expand on the "It's about the idea of playing a Disney Kart racer", they've done a good job in curating what characters/franchises to put in. It's a bunch of classics and proven successes with the newest things they've put in so far being 10 years old already and the mid-season racers have always been pretty desirable from "Necessary additional heroes/villains for launch collections" or cult favorites like Oswald and Figment (which is how the game was able to get its claws into me at early access's launch). As horseshit as the Season 7 changes are, Wreck-It Ralph with mid-season Muppets is a very hard thing to say no to.

This season's update broke my save file, and I lost my account with 200 hours. Tried talking with GL, but they could not fix the problem. I was looking forward to giving this season a chance, but Faith wants me AWAY from this game, lol.

They got rid of 3 voice actors, probably due to the lack of money theyre earning or tryna make us feel bad so we can pay more.

I feel it might just be a test to see if players care. Usually, poor decisions start small like that, but players blow it off or distracted by the ooh and ah. Once they see people don't care, they hammer down hard on it. So I could see more voiceless characters in the future.

Yeah. They could revert the golden pass back and then increase prices elsewhere. Now with the last mid-season racer (correct me if I'm wrong) there was an event to earn 10 shards to unlock said character. I was content with that. There was still a race to win more shards, so I ended up getting a little more progress to get to star level 2. I wonder if they'll do that again or go with that top 10% nonsense again to get 10 shards? Lol.

Man, I just wanted to get to Diamond with Ariel. I'm stuck at MPR 25. I can get a top 3 finnish every 2nd MAYBE 3rd race, but then I loose or exit matches where I have no chance. I had a struggle to get Belle to Diamond, but it wasn't this bad. Lol. I saw their latest post on Facebook about their "passionate community" and will give us an update soon. It's like they're stucj in the mud with tires spinning. Lots of folks upset. And rightfully so. I think its time they took that hard look in the mirror quite honestly. ..

Voiceless characters are the worst thing that can happen to this game. Playing a voiceless character is pretty much like driving an empty kart for me, like whats the point? Well, all the more reason to stay f2p because there is no content for me to even invest in.

It's isn't that is a bad game either. It has some really great ideas for the genre and definitely had it's own feel compared to the gold standard of Mario kart. It's a shame Disney didn't have faith in the game itself too make money. I don't feel stuck. I'm disappointed that this mobile game on console actually has good ideas for gameplay and that that wasn't the focus

This is not the way a MMO is treated. I've been part of an MMO dev team. The future will be marked by the costs and the collection target. The investors set a rate they approve and if they are not happy the 'support' will disappear in a few months. Keeping a game healthy is needed to have a predictable lifespan.

It will shutdown eventually but yes it won't be shutting down anytime soon. But also it depends a lot on Disney because they own the characters.. and Disney has no issues shutting down games that are "under proforming".

i've been growing more and more confused about your stance on the game since i first found your channel compared to now. do you actually like.. enjoy speedstorm still? as someone who does still enjoy it a lot and been watching ur videos since aladdin, recent videos are really confusing me on your actual stance on the game these days. i almost feel stupid for still loving it as much as i do ☹️ what's your stance on it these days, i'm a little confused

That's a hard one. Let me see if I can explain. When I first started playing Speedstorm back in EA (day 1), I was hopeful for what the game could become. Every season from season 3 onward, I've noticed players (especially new players) being mistreated time and time again. This in turn usually got swept under the rug every season. A lot of the hope I had for the game left. Not only because of how the devs treated the players, but how it seemed as if it was being ignored. There were tons of issues that have been escalated and could have possibly been prevented if spoken about before it went to certain points. (example, removing ALL characters from local and private if you don't own them. That is straight disrespectful) I think the issue I have with Speedstorm is it's only good to you if you're good to it. However, if you're not good to it, it won't be good to you. (example, walls to content without characters, pay-to-win aspects for PvE as well as PvP) If you're not good to Speedstorm (invested money at some point and time), the game won't be good to you. Players may feel this *now* because of the situation, however, this has been going on for a very long time. That's not the game I envisioned when I started supporting the game in EA. I guess I can say I feel betrayed in a way. Yes, there are characters you can race and new maps, but the game is the same since EA (arguably worse). However, this doesn't influence the content I put out. This is more or less the content to cover at this point and time.

Why do u think this game so unpopular ? People now can see clearly which direction it's going some of us playing from early seasons that's why we can enjoy a little but for new players it's a horrible experience
