I'm a 50-something, non-techie... and I got the NOTE 4 because of the S-pen! I love it! Instead of a thousand sticky notes all over the place, I simply write a quick Action note (looks just like a yellow sticky note) and then pin it to the Home screen of my phone. As I complete stuff, I just unpin and delete the sticky note. Wow!!!! I can write on my calendar inside the standard Samsung calendar app. Way Cool! I can make handwritten notes on a pic and then send that to someone... ALL while I'm talking to 'em on the phone! This phone is probably the closest you could probably come to technology BEHAVING like non-technology! Had the phone a month now. It's my birthday/Christmas/Valentine's gift! Got it on the AT&T Next payment plan... but just paid it off after the 1st payment. AT&T Next gives you the option. :-)) Oh... almost forgot. The resolution of the pictures are un-f*cking-believable! The charger that comes with the phone is 9volt... that's why it can charge so much of the battery so fast. Look at your older chargers; you'll see... they're only like 5volt. Can you tell that I really LOVE my new Note 4 phone!!!!!

I'm writing this from my SGN4 and I am so happy with it. I came from an iPhone and had it for a few years but was getting tired of just not being able to customize it like I want. Ooohhh it can text and make calls, big whoop. My grandma's flip phone can do that AND hold up when it's water damaged. Anyway I upgraded and I'm so happy I did. This is exactly why the note series started as a whole.It's more of a commercial product nowadays, but that doesn't mean all the functionality that was there for the business types of people when the first Note came out isn't there now, it still is! Samsung did a great job to make the Note functional, smart AND fun. I suggest you purchase it, you won't regret it!

You should pick the nexus 6 only if you prefer the stock android experience, if you don't mind using a launcher like nova launcher on top of Samsung's touchwiz then the note 4 is definitely the better option.

personally i would chose the note 4, simply because of all the extra features. Also, touchwiz will be getting a "overhaul" pretty soon, and will become close to stock android (just like the nexus 6) I LOVE having a big screen, and to be honest, Samsung are the only ones to take full use from bigger screens. And the damn s-pen is amazing!!

Hi I have been watching so many videos about phones. And I am having a hard time picking one because I want the best i can get for my money. I am not one that has to keep up with the newest and latest phones. I don't get excited about brand new phones unless it has something super different than the older version. I am looking into this phone and wondering are the notes better than the S series (if that what u call them). I use my phone all the time. I use it for business as well as personal use. I like this phone because i can always add a sd card and store pictures on my sd cards as well as keep an extra battery on me. I love to take pictures. I use to have a s3 in 2013 and i loved it. i thought that camera was amazing. with that being said i could only imagine how amazing this camera would be. I have a ipod so i feel i don't need to have an iphone. I had a iphone for the year of 2015 and didn't touch my ipod. I also liked the camera on that phone. lol Since this phone came out I believe 2014 the price is a lot better. so i would be spending so much less for a great product. I am writing this just so someone can maybe help push me a little more into getting the phone. :D please and thank you for your time.

it's ok if you don't believe me, you should not apologize for such a small thing! From what i've heard, samsung tried to make the note 5 feel like an iphone. so the battery is no longer removable, and there is no micro SD slot anymore, as well as they removed the IR blaster (useful for some, but a dumb gimmick for others).

my note edge is out for delivery to my address today! every Samsung phone after not 4 and edge has removed so much just to try and give a somewhat better design and to compete against iPhones design. forget trying to compete with iPhone, the note is in a class on its own that iPhone can't fathem against. the note 5 and note 7 was 2 steps backwards just to gain 1 step in the design Lane

Depends how locked in you are to Apples ecosystem, if the iPhone 4s is all you own id definetly go the Note 4 over the iPhone 6 or 6+, its just a better phone overall if you are not locked into Apple. The note has a better screen, better camera, better hardware and better features and faster. But it will be a slight learning curve for you to move from iOS to Android.
