The main problem I have with GH is that y'all highjack the highway! Dropping down to 25 mph for any reason, is inconvenient and a detriment to anything north of the river.

Kirk Park about 10 miles south of Grand Haven is a very good beach for families.(Muskegon state park has great beaches- 20 minutes north of Grand Haven). Best restaurant by far is "Morning Star cafe" in season get there just before 8 am or go for lunch. They do not service dinner.

Those beaches are beautiful. But they're not white. Lived there 1987-2020.

Been here since 99'. Ready to leave as the kids are about done with school. People looking to move here and enroll their kids should know GH school board just quietly adopted title IX changes mandating teachers use students' chosen pronouns, allow boys into girls private spaces and their sports. Did I mention the administration also allowed a million bucks to be embezzled about 3 years ago and refuses to answer questions. Plus, it's cold as heck in the winter. Looking forward to moving to a warmer, less woke climate soon.
