The reason I like your Cruise videos is that you always look for the positives, as you are doing now. Please keep that going as, just recently, there have been a number of bloggers/vloggers, who we have also been watching for a long time, who seem to spend much of their time moaning/building up some companies against others/comparing companies then blatantly advertising them via sponsored videos/freebies etc. Cruise videos are becoming extremely common on KZbin and your content is always the best, informative and fair. Please do not fall into the trap that the others have!

Thanks so much, appreciate your comment. We are just so grateful everytime we travel to be honest and realise the people who watch our videos have saved up and worked hard and want to enjoy their holidays so yes we try review things but would never moan about something for views then accept something free off them. To be honest we aren't up to date with what other vloggers are doing as in our spare time away from work and youtube we watch alot of TV series, movies and sports lol. We just do our own thing and try to just put out tips/ reviews that will help others 👍 😀

Great vlog guys, we’re booked on P&O Aurora next July so reckon you should sneak on board your case of Coke on that ship for a review. 😊

I pooped my cruising cherry on p&o and was on Venturer last year as well. Outside of them I have done Cunard and Princess (both carnival corp so similar) and MSC (very different) and I can’t wait to get back on a P&O ship. Good value, and theses something nice about rocking up into town in a 300meter plus cruise ship with a massive Union Jack on the front 😂😂😂

I love watching your vlogs. You are always so positive and I appreciate the time you take to do your fabulous videos for us. I have done 12 cruises, 7 of which were with P & O and I have another 4 booked with them. Like you, the negative comments amaze me, but I am a glass half full person and others are glass half empty people! I know which I prefer to be as I always like to find the positive in everything.

Great honest video. Never been on p & 0 yet but I am looking. I note from your videos the speciality dining and drinks packages are actually very cheap compared to RC, celebrity etc so that’s a bonus

A very balanced & well presented video. My wife & I are not ‘cruisers’ but we have decided to take a world cruise & P&O was one of the first companies we have looked at. As we are about to outlay a fair amount of cash I am doing as much research as possible and, like you said in this video, there are so many negative comments, a lot more than positive. That said, the main theme of these comments is staff shortages, poor dining experiences such as long queues etc., cleanliness and hygiene, tired decor. As we will be sailing on an older vessel, the Arcadia, I cannot help but feel that there may be some substance to these reports, especially in view of the effect that COVID had on the industry. Again, thanks for your presentation but I feel there is a lot more research to be done 👍

Hi thanks so much for watching and for your comment. But yes, it's definitely worth researching as much as you can. A world cruise is a big commitment and although we made this video to show why cruising with P&O is a good cruise line we can only go off our cruises with them which has been a 5 night, a 7 night and at most a 14 day cruise with them. It does sound a wonderful opportunity though. Hope you manage to find the information you are looking for 👍

Good post, we've done Brittania twice and Arvia, like any company they could do certain things a little better but overall its fantastic value for money with good entertainment. booked for Arvia again next November and Ventura in May 25

Fantastic videos once again we go on the Britannia in July 2024 we like P&O as it’s like a family to us and you meet people who only sail on P&O and also after years of flying I don’t fly anymore so it’s great to go from Southampton it’s stress free 👍👍

We've enjoyed seeing all these ships and cruises, Stacey and Kev. They looked just fine to us! There was always plenty to do aboard them and the food looked delicious. Loved the views, especially your first one passing though the fjords. Lovely ports of call too! As you mention, nothing is perfect. There's also going to be bad reviews for anything. Trip Advisor is a for profit entity. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but they do have a vested interest in things. We do many tours though them in some of the cities we visit and always had a good time, but they were pricey. The P&O line looks just fine to us! We love your videos! Thanks for bringing us along.

P&O have an higher age limit for what is classed as a child most other cruise lines class over 12s as adults . It works a lot cheaper for families with kids over 12 . P&O do tend to be allot cheaper that RC and Princess.

Another great video from fellow Stokies . I’m thinking of booking my first cruise with P+O. What worries me I’m a solo traveler, is it ok to go on a cruise ship on your own . I’m a very sociable chat always chatting with people.

Hi Keith. I have just returned from my first cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. I was travelling solo and I'm also a wheelchair user, and I can honestly say that I felt totally safe. Iona is a big ship, but I felt OK with that. In the Main Dining Rooms you can request to join a shared table at meal times where you'll get the opportunity to meet people. I met people that I ended up watching shows with or a cocktail with in The Crows Nest. It's also very liberating travelling on your own. 😊

@@onedogandabag9606 Thanks for your advice on solo cruising . I have mobility problems as well , I use crutches. I will definitely look at going on a cruise now. There’s no information about solo cruising and mobility issues . Thanks again mate

Please can you explain why you disliked Ventura? I've never been on her but it would be good to know why you would not book to go on her again.

@@valerieg5674 Ventura is a training ship and you can tell it. We found a lot of the staff rude and unfriendly. Food wasn’t good and service was poor. Not all but enough to know that half didn’t want to be there. The ship itself is pretty decent with lots of adult areas although it is showing it’s age a bit. Staff have to trained somewhere but en masse to paying customers maybe isn’t the way to do. There really is a huge difference to other ships

I have done 7 P & O cruises, 4 of which with Ventura. (Plus have 2 future cruises booked on Iona and 1 on Arcadia). My son and grandson had first cruise with me on Ventura in April this year and they absolutely loved it. I am a solo traveller and when I get on Ventura I always feel like I am coming home and feel so comfortable. It amazes me how people see things differently from each other. Never found rude staff and food was fantastic. My son and grandson loved the buffet, Beach house and Sindhu. I am about to book another cruise on Ventura for 2025! @@richardparmenter188

Well, Cunard still have a mandatory charge for gratuities and P&O only stopped back in 2019 so I don't think it's purely due to the nationality of the cruise line. More likely competition from Marella.
