Easy answer is because its doesn't only have CSR for rendering it also has SSR & SSG which is good for SEO, you can also do serverless in it for back-end. Its basically upgrade of React

Very good explain why next is better than plain react. I have one question because I am little confuse. You used tag from next/image to optimize your image size, but when you did export you add again normal tag, tell me after export to out folder this image is optimized or not cause now you do not use next/image?

I think he switched back to is because of the "next build && next export" command. Apparently, if you want to do Image Optimization (and use tag), you would need a node server to serve your project "dynamically" instead of deploying a static website

Next js is react - think of it like that ( it just includes routing and some other things sure but just think of it as react + routing)

The e books offered by do are very good. Especially as intro level stuff. Next is good. I’ll be running with it for a while. Remix is the new thing I guess and Astro. Meeh there’s always something new lol.
