I think that even if Charles wasn’t in charge of Cardano, he would probably still be the best choice for the position of advisor or head of crypto policy. He has a proven track record of consistent methodical implementation of academically rigorous change in ADA and was heavily involved in ETH’s upbringing. He is the best choice, plus, the dude will have Whooly mammoths on his ranch 😅 He is clearly the best choice.

Charles' news is a double edged sword because while his influence would be undoubtedly good for the whole industry, as he explained in his live stream, an official appointment could cause serious conflict of interest with his corporate positions (IOHK, etc), and he might have to recuse himself and his companies from things like bids for contracts to build voting systems for elections or DID systems. Which would be a bummer for Cardano.

I completely disagree. Cardano was built extremely well and extremely secure. He has done nothing but a great job for Cardano. His influence as a Crypto Advisor will be great for Cardano especially when it comes to uses for Governments and Businesses. No one knows Cardano better than Charles.

I think Cardano would benefit a lot more from having its tech implemented into eVote and other platforms than having Charles directly involved in policy arrangements. Advising and lobbying certain senators and law makers is a different thing and conflict of interests don't apply there.

Anyone that doesn't think ada can get to $100/coin thats only a 4.5 trillion market cap! And while yes that is a "lot" if you think bitcoin will match gold at 20 trillion theres 0 reason ada cant get to 1/4th that and considering ada is constantly advancing in technology and there is the possibility that ada could flip bitcoin ada could eventually go 4x that and match gold $400/coin! But this will take 10-15 years.

What it lacks is stablecoin liquidity and automated trading like the other chains. EVM MEV bots dominate trading on other chains. They aren't real users.
