I have one and I think you did a nice job covering it. That Vermona is a real nice pairing with it. Also you mentioned how good chord mode is with softsynths, incredibly true.

I love my OXI so much. Need to use it more often. Also it really REQUIRES good multitimbral synth to open more possibilities. I'm looking at Kodamo essense FM as one of the most powerful synths with unleashed multitimbrality (up to 16 parts so you can use it as drum machine and lead and bass and other parts of song simultaneously). And as always thanks for your work and your content.

Multitimbral, or just multiple synths 😄

You just sold me on this unit - good job. Would love to see your take on the Oxi One in a hybrid setup with both your DAW and a synth. Maybe some drums via the DAW?

Great video as always! Big thanks! I’m very corious to how you would compare the Oxi One with the T-1. What separates them and how do you think they compliment eachother? I have the T-1 but I’m on the verge of getting an Oxi One as well but I’m not clear about why I would need both😰.

Looks like it shares some DNA with the Deluge... how do they compare from a sequencing point of view?

I am getting a Roland MC-101 to pair with the Oxi One and I hope I can just connect the USB cable from the Oxi One in host mode to the USB port on the MC-101 in order to power and sequence it as a 4 part sound module, in a nice and clean groove box-like setup. Have you tried yours with the MC-707?

Sad I could not make it work with OP 1 Field. That aside, great machine to pair with my iPad (AUM) via BLE, and via midi with lemondrop, Microfreak, model:cycles...
@tendingtropic77782 жыл бұрын
i believe it works with the op-1 field just not via BLE
@landonh35352 жыл бұрын
Are you sequencing the lemondrop or also sending CCs? I was curious also how/why you use it with the Cycles since the sequencer on that is unreal already.
@JuanPabloMendiola2 жыл бұрын
@@landonh3535 with the cycles… I only sync it via midi… as you said, its sequencer is great.
@JuanPabloMendiola2 жыл бұрын
ATM I only sequence the lemondrop (I just received it last week) but it should be great to automate CC messages to modulate sound

Amazing sounds as usual, I noticed you have both the standard OXI and the black edition, which one do you prefer? I'm thinking of going with standard vs the black edition, seams easier to see everything?

I am trying to compare with the Polyend Play can you load custom samples into the OXI?
@OoraMusic Жыл бұрын
no, oxi is only a sequencer
@pauldonnan2 жыл бұрын
Very curious about this one, especially the differences / overlap with Octatrack
@OoraMusic2 жыл бұрын
Let's say the oxi can cover what electron sequencers do. Ofc the octa has a lot of other interesting things on the side.

is there anything as good as this for simply playing chords and arps with hardware? The TheoryBoard is another, but its much larger, this sort of scale is ideal especially for travelling etc! Very nice vid

Just got mine a few ays ago and love it so much already. Slowly getting my head round it. I have the Moog Matriarch and want to control the four seperate oscillators like this. I don't see any CV leads coming from OXI, so are you sending this signal with Midi? Great video, had to watch a few times and still rewatch lol, a lot to take in
