Not to be political but our race is declining because of planned parenthood which was set-up specifically in black communities by Margaret Sanger, a known racist eugenics'. Since 1973 over 19 million black babies have been aborted. Imagine if they hadn't been? We probably would not have been surpassed by Latinos as the largest minority in America. This is not a conversation about "Roe Vs Wade" or female autonomy. I know those 19 M babies were not the product of rape/incest but instead of poor choices.

Hello Hello Hello. I am so glad this topic is being talked about. Don't get me wrong not trying to bash men. These are things I experienced, seen and heard. Most men doesn't want to change what they are doing. There are guys who like drinking and doesn't think it will affect the relationship or cause harm to his health and mind. The man don't understand how to be the head of the house hold. He misinterpret the Bible by thinking he is the man and he control the woman and she doesn't have any say about nothing. There are guys who never made any kind of money and now successful. Believe getting married will ruin his life. Nobody want to meet anyone in person since social media been out. I am old fashioned. I like seeing people then that social medial online dating. People want to be introverts. God made man and woman to become one not to become friends with benefits. The word says when a man finds a wife he finds a good thing and favor in the Lord. God bless you all. Have a bless and wonderful day.

Thank you for your input! I think a lot of men (especially men of color) are dealing with traumas we have no clue about. They hold a lot in and live their lives accordingly. That's why I (we) believe that there's a unique woman made specifically for each man. God has graced women to match the needs of men. It's all about two imperfect people unifying to becoming one. The men you're referring to usually find their person who can accept their drinking problem, flaws with trying to lead the household, money issues, etc. to help them become healthier in those areas. I hear what you saying. I'm talking about in a dating situation. There isn't no one perfect but God. I do believe if we as individuals are dealing with issues and flaws, get some self help, counseling. We as of color people never want to talk about what is going on with us. Why hide what is happening with us? We shouldn't do that. Why be ashamed of what we are dealing with with. We people of color was taught what happens in the house stays in the house. All those years we still frighten and never get self help and guidance.i hear of so many stories that saddens my heart. It should never be a one way street. No one is taking marriage seriously. Married one day and divorced the next. Then trying it again two and three more times. I know what the word speaks about in Romans and Corinthians. Very little people talk about those verses. I know I am saying a mouth full but why should I lie. That's how we become mislead because the truth isn't being told

Too many ism's and not enough we's. ...Meaning to many I's and selfishness, not trying to be a Team.. Folks are not putting GOD first. In this era it's a lot of broken homes, negative music, social media, immaturity, disrespect & drama going on between young men and women. Too many young man are influence by the streets/ trends...It's a lose lose situation for men because of the court system / laws when it comes to marriage & divorce. Too many women trying to be boss chicks who making a lot of money and getting their degrees and feel like they don't need no man, which is false and women are being out of pocket / to aggressive these days not really needing or wanting a help mate...If a man gets married make sure you picking the right fruit off that vine and take your time & really vet that young lady and you both are whole/ having a balance, having a good spirit, nurturing along with having great character. Too many broken people with baggage these days are getting married for all the wrong reasons and for material things. Hurt people hurt other people. At the end of the day, there are still good men and women out here, they just have to mature and gain wisdom & surround themselves around positive people who are married, educate themselves and have the same common goals. All men want is peace and respect & a hot plate or a sandwich made when we come home from work taking on all the mess in the world😀👍

Dbug, thank you so much for sharing your insights. I agree that we need to put God first, and in doing so, reminding us of the true culprit, the serpent. The devil deceived both men and women, using the court system as just one means of division. There are many others. With that being said, women didn’t create the court system, white men did. Women are being used as pawns, as beneficiaries of the court system, in a way to keep us divided. I also agree that hurt people are hurting other people, so we have to work together to get to the root of the hurt in order to face it head-on and then begin the healing process. Men and women want the same thing; to be loved, security, and someone to share life with. But to get that, we must learn to discuss tuff issues without pointing fingers. Both sides need understanding, compassion, and grace. We also need things that the other can’t give. Black men say we want peace. Peace comes from within ourselves through guidance from the Holy Spirit. With that being said, thank you again, and I look forward to your comments.

You know marriage is serious. It is nothing to play with. You now have to be an investigator (both women and men) to know who you are developing a relationship with. Take time to get to know the individual. Nobody will just come out and say all about themselves. Especially if they are married. For me, I would not like to make any man's life miserable.

Guys the only good reason to marry is if you want children with a lifelong partner who you consider to be your soulmate. Otherwise you are on a hiding to nothing in the family and divorce courts with their blatant favouritism towards the wife and equally hostility to the husband. Also if sex is your primary aim certainly do not marry as before the wedding the sex will be plentiful but afterwards its frequency is likely to seriously decline, especially if kids come along as your wife is likely to give almost all her energies to them and not you. In truth when kids come along they are her first priority, not you her husband. As long as wives can divorce for frivolous reasons and not be financially penalised (e.g. I don't feel it) marriage rates will decline inexorably as what is in it for men ? Assuming your moral and religious views allow it if you meet a compatible lady who is over 35 and you want to live with her and you own your own property best not to marry her as she wouldn't be entitled to your property if you part ways.
