i’ve also been looking at concordia for their film production program, how do you like it? Are students creating work? are there opportunities to get on studio sets? lmk!!
@philippklein1 Жыл бұрын
Hey, the program is very good for people looking to get first experiences and those interested into the more creative and artsy side of film. I made a video about the film program that is a little bit more comprehensive (). In terms of creating art, most students in the Production program are very active and making a lot of movies, the atmosphere in and outside of school is very hands on which is nice. I found that there are way more opportunities to work on sets than there is time, generally speaking it's students sets but with a little bit of effort it is not too difficult to get on professional sets either. Let me know if this answers your question

Please make a video on how to find opportunities for artists (like you mentioned there are many)
@philippklein1 Жыл бұрын
Hey, I’d love to! Could you specify what exactly you mean with opportunities for artists?

hey, I'm looking to apply for either Cell and Molecular Biology or just Biology at Concordia for the coming fall semester of 2024. I'm international and I hope to apply to the university but I would need residence for the first year. Could you give me some tips to build my application and tell me about the quality of the science program? Also, is there a housing crisis or is it easier to get into residence and mingle with people as an international student?
@philippklein16 ай бұрын
Hey, the demand for appartments is very high, esp for students, however, Montreal Is stil significantly lower than Toronto or Vancouver. With regards to the science program, what I have heard, it’s very good, but in terms of prestige, if the name is going to be important for your career, I would recommend you to apply to McGill

Hi, can you tell me about the MBA programme of Concordia University. I’m bit skeptical weather to go for 1 year program for HEC Montreal or 2 year MBA for Concordia University.
@philippklein1Ай бұрын
Hey, it very much depends on what you are looking for long term. I know that HEC has a great international reputation, however, Concordia also has a strong masters program as far as I am concerned. Do you already know which industry, job, geography etc you are looking to work in?

Hi, Thanks for the video. I have a question in mind. Since you are a film student i thought to ask you about it. I have applied for the MFA in film production program. How difficult is it to get into that program as an international student?
@philippklein1 Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for your comment. I don’t know anyone personally who is in the Film Masters, generally - unlike with the bachelor - it tends to be easier to get into the masters program as an international
