Everything have two aspects whether you be network or software developer. Why didn't you mention it in your statement. You are the inspiration of your audience who are try to get in this area so you are not supposed to say like this that why one shouldn't go in such field. Entire IT infrastructure are based on network and those network are in holding hand of network engineer. There are ton of reasons available on internet why not to opt Networking, Why not go with programing. Still You are supposed to make contents positively.

Kya bol rahey ho. I disagree. I had worked for TCS WIPRO AND TATA but not find useless networking. Kabhi kabhi overtime karna padta hai or under cooling temperature Mein kaam karna padta hai par kuch apka answer justify nahi ho raha hai. PACKAGE depend karta hai aapka experience or companies Mein. Overtime toh har job Mein Hai desktop server koi bhi job ho. Aap confidence low kar rahey ho jo CCNA CCNP KAR RAHE HAI YA KAR CHUKEY HAI. stop this nonsense.

i think this point is also for software engineers except noise of networking equipments and one thing if we need to go for support at night so think if we are doing web or software development we spent our many hours in sitting front of systems during our day shift in office or after that much struggle ,companies give you extra work or your project deadlines this is extremely shit........ so one thing that are similar for all tech fields keep growing our knowledge and keep strugling
