I don't usually comment on videos but as a fan of Gary and Reezy, I won't hesitate anymore. I just moved to Washington last July, tried to apply for a bunch of hourly jobs but had no luck despite having an engineering degree. I still have this little entrepreneur fire in me and you're videos keep adding fuel to it. Thank you for all your videos. I'm getting inspired! I will start my FBA journey this month, starting with bookselling, wish me luck.
@jasonschwartz15536 жыл бұрын
Good points, one and all. I'll add that you'll fail on amazon FBA if you don't research Amazon's rules, regulations and expectations. So many people get into it without even looking at the first page of the seller agreement that you sign up for. As soon as they get their first complaint, they act self-righteous like it's not their fault, they shouldn't be responsible for it, etc etc. when it was all laid out for them in amazon's rules, help sections, faqs, etc. Do your homework. We all sign up for the TOS (terms of service) and even if you didn't read it, know that it basically boils down to: "We're amazon, and we can shaft you any which way we please, any time we please." Get ready for it. Get knocked down by it, but get back up again and know it's all part of this particular business. Lots of people get unbelievably discouraged just from one customer taking advantage of them and Amazon's customer-centric system. It's going to happen, breeze over it and onto the next thing.

YOU ARE CRUSHING IT! Came to learn about selling books on Amazon to supplement my life after the last podsession you did with Gary V. It must have been the perfect timing because I had been listening to Gary for a couple months getting my head right after a major life f*up. Heard the message about patience and hard work, but didn't know exactly what to do. I was ready to even pick up a 2nd job doing part time for UPS!!! Selling through Amazon seems like a MUCH BETTER use of my time. Consuming literally all your content, thank you so much.

Do you Amazon sellers get alot of DMCA notices and if so, what do you do with your stuff at Amazon? Also, if you're paying for storage and your stuff doesn't sell, then you just keep paying for it to sit in Amazon's warehouse? What about if they lose your stuff, any recourse there? Also, do they ever open your stuff you send in or like inspect it at all? I mean, I'm sure Amazon has some sort of list of things you can't sell, and then there's things that will piss them off if you do sell (human nature). What kind of things does Amazon ban people for and are they hella policing and draconian like eBay?

Reezy Can you explain when a product changes in price and you basically will lose the profit that you projected and was shown when you bought it. For example if FBA a product at $30 and then a month later you have to match the lowest price at $20 and you just lost 10 profit. Can you explain this?

When you're new, amazon holds your money until a time period after items are received by customer to ensure there's money to cover refunds. As you sell more overtime, they trust you more and hold less for less time
