Thank you for showing the lick, now i can play it too. In my youth Riot was one of my favorits,still today. Fire down under is immortal. The Sound, the vocals and this special guitarsound and playing, so rough and deep from the heart. Unbelievable Masters of Rock Music, /Metal and this is so cool that you are keeping the heritage. Awesome video! There are a lot of underrated bands out there (Budgie, Y&T, April Wine, Sir Lord Baltimore, Atomic Rooster) but Riot takes the cake IMO! Riot was better than most bands that were more popular than them. So sad that they never made it big. They sure deserved it!

IT's funny, I remember playing songs from Restless Breed, people would say "Who is that?" ~ It's Riot! "Oh yeah, I love Bang Your Head" ... and I shrug... yea, good one and forget it. At this point, I'm not even turning you on to Krokus or Kix because they just weren't ready yet. I'm an East coaster so we got to see lots of bands touring up and down in clubs a lot of times before they became huge. Kix is a great example, same with Riot. I almost get a "Spinal Tap" vibe with why the hell they never popped out???

Shouldve changed irishmore to Warior. The only band to make heavy metal like that judas priest in 1977. Like the stuff maiden used for their 1980's releases. Soo the US were important for late 70s heavy metal revival.
