In this video I discuss 5 rules on how to blend into your surrounds and become a shadow… how to become invisible! The ninja was known by some as the “invisible warriors” and had to have specialized stealth training techniques to be able to do what they did in feudal Japan. The ninja was a spy, so they needed to know how to blend in to their surrounds, move without being seen or detected to be able to gather the information and get it back to their feudal lord. These techniques are all covered in traditional ninjutsu training (shinobijutsu). . As many of you know, I have inherited and collected many scrolls over the years and I share my research with my students. When you study the ancient historical text of the ninja, there are 5 rules / guidelines that every ninja must do when they are on a stealth mission. . 5 Rules On How To Blend In & Become A Shadow: (1) Understanding The Baseline. (2) Understanding How To Blend In. (3) Understanding How To Use Stealth and Concealment. (4) Do Not Make Eye Contact or Let your Visuals Be Known. (5) Understand Behavior and How To Act According To The Situation. . In the modern day, we use the term “Gray Man”. Gray Man (a.k.a Grey Man) is a method/theory of disappearing into the crowd so you can move unnoticed when disaster strikes. The idea is that you can conceal your preparedness by blending in with the crowd before or during an emergency. While it is generally referred to as the ‘gray man theory,’ this theory can, of course, be applied to anyone, man or woman, of any age, who needs to blend into a crowd amidst a disastrous situation to conceal the fact that they have survival skills and/or are carrying tactical gear. . When you think of ‘blending in with the crowd’ it’s generally a negative, right? Nobody wants to be just like everyone else. You want to be unique, to stand out - that is, until there’s an emergency and you’re the only one prepared. As a student of traditional ninjutsu and or a prepper, you’ll be ready when disaster strikes, but what will everyone around you be doing? Panicking... . There are lots of advantages to blending in with the crowd when disaster strikes. For starters, by not drawing attention to yourself, you’ll be able to move more quickly and easily through the crowd without alerting others to the fact that you are prepared to handle the situation. . Also, by blending in and appearing to be among the unprepared, you are less likely to make yourself a target of those in desperation who may try and take your survival gear off you by force. The gray man theory is really about protecting yourself and your family by concealing the fact that you are indeed prepared to survive in the face of disaster. . This lesson is directly for those training in the traditional Japanese martial arts and self-defense techniques of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).

Being aware of reflective surfaces in the environment is important. Use them to observe something without drawing attention, but know that the same can be done to you.

Excellent, just like how they used horse raids. Now we have people in cars that would stop their car and stare at you, looking or fishing for a problem.

A good exercise is to sit in a populated place and watch everyone to see who stands out, And then avoid those kinds of visuals. As she said the base line will change from place to place though. So that exercise needs to be done in every new place you visit. Always take time to watch.

This is what some would call " To disappear in the crowd" or " To hide in the sea of people". But more than that it is also to know the routines and rhythms in society. When I say this I have the movie Alien 2 in mind, where that little girl has been hiding for quite some time from the aliens because she knows where they never come and where they come a lot and at what time they do it and why. Incredible that this has enabled her to survive allthough she´s a little girl. Later on Ripley also makes use of the girl´s knowledge to counterattack and escape from the aliens if I remember correctly.

Hello to everyone! I am Italian I cannot understoond alI I Have got a couple of question for you; some moderns school using the five elements Go Dai -Go kyo for catalog the methods of invisibility Earth method: Hiding using the plant and other elements of the earth Water method: Hiding on the earth and using particolar tools Fire method ecc metal method there some variations but more or less there are methods. There are also advanced method who regards like use the light and the Shadow, and use of your body (some using the yoga stance) for imitate the object, there are also method for training the eyes to see on the dark, and mental training for undo yourself like human form and became part of enveryoment all this method are used for infiltration o escape Inton Jiutsu- Goton Po etc ,you can find same methods on the nature who made miracles now my questions are it's all this traditional ninjutsu o fantasy? I am Reading Basensunkai(Vol fiften First page) and I read an italian version of shoninki, It seems to me who there Is not much about this. The fact Is who on my opinion this work good especially nowdays if you have not a clan and you're alone and you cannot use method like password etc., if you work for the CIA maybe is different, there are many situations where this skill are useful. There somebody expert on this on this group? What sections of Basensunkai explain this if Is real

@@SokeAnshu and another Ninja technique they used was when someone was running after them..they would run away, but say a little bit close but out of site. Hide with a sheet of cloth so they would pose as a rock by keeping very still still..this technique was called, Uzaura gakure (hiding like a Quail)... I read loads of ninja book and spend hours reading them.. because they're on any schools in the UK that teach it..I've also learned a lot from your channel aswell
@jonahsimmons36452 жыл бұрын
I'm always really skeptical of anything labeled as ninja, but i have yet to find anything really bad with this channel. I also really like how it's beign applied to modern day and it's not jsut combat. I am so sick of people only doing combat for monks, ninjas, or modern soilders when there is so much more to it than that.
