I think it’s so awesome how strong the water is to push that much debris along great video 😊

What a fizzer! I think that bridge should be made smaller so the flash flood looks more impressive.

Looks like some soil was dumped in the center of the river area, perhaps to control water flow? Or maybe to gauge the erosive force for future planning?

Aaron Lowe it was probably what was left over from dredging for the new bridge

Great video, but I'm wondering....... Why did Santa Clara Pueblo Fire & EMS send 10 people to watch this from the bridge?

I've seen flash floods many times. This video was definitely NOT a flash flood. This was normal water run off from a rain storm. I do appreciate the organization to try to avert disasters.

The bridges were shut down for that? That is normal stream flow in the rest of the world.

Yes but the bridge is acting as a funnel point with the wing walls diverting floods into the centre, then further restricting the flow with all the piers that will block with large logs and other debris. This bridge was not designed it was constructed of left over parts.

How far did the water run from its beginning to the bridge here. looking at the video I don’t even see any rain in the sky. Wow what a beautifully videoed video

The storm could have been 25 miles away. I agree though, it is a well done video.

I have said it before and I’ll keep saying it...water flowing in a designated waterway is not a flood. No different than the water running in the gutter of my street during a rainstorm is a flash flood.

Marc Rau agree had too mute that part. weather needs too get rid of computer voice also as well as KZbin videos that people also complain about. they need to pay a real person with the money they make.

It was a flash flood not a flood, in floods water rises up after hours and gets really high and a flash flood it comes with a lot of debris and can get high or low depending on the creek bed

Where was the flood as I only seen the water flowing in what was mad for it, where was the streets and that that would be covers and full of water, a stream designed for water to flow is not a flood
