There are scolars who do not see the point of pictures that way, and I do think that the wahabis who overreact in this topic are not searching the mediate way, and Islam is the mediate way, extremism is not islamic, keeping connection with Allah svt. is not dependent on these things, otherwise no humans could find and join Islam in non Islamic circles. So we have to keep us connected to our Creator, and if I watch a picture of Allahs blessings, my family members who all were Muslims, my scholars who taught me Islam, my leader of our Ummah is absolutely nothing bad. Keeping names, pictures, items which come from Haram people, like pop stars, film stars, unislamic films, anything non Islamic is something pulling us away from Almighty svt.! So I see my Shia Muslims scholars really Islamic, rational Islam, not irrational, and I refuse the wahabi definition which here is presented as "best Islam", which it is not
