I didn't become financially independent till I was in my mid 40s after having a major financial setback during the covid, I'm glad i'm on my feet. In addition to buying my second house, I'm also making money on a monthly basis through passive income, and I've also met some of my goals. I really hope this motivates someone to know that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet; no matter your age, you can start today. Investing can help you change your future!.

Glad I came across this comment section. I was struggling to decide what to do with a good amount of money in the bank doing nothing. I would be happy if you could advise me, as I am ready to go the passive income path.

I highly endorse the services of Regina Louise Collaro, a US-based financial advisor and consultant. Partnering with an international organization, she has been instrumental in guiding my financial journey with unwavering support until my goals are met. Selecting the right financial consultant is as crucial as finding the right life partner, as both can significantly impact your life's trajectory. I'm grateful to have found the perfect financial consultant who has helped me achieve my financial objectives, from education to nearing retirement.

I prefer a personal ISA Account compared to Lifetime ISA. On the government’s website having a Lifetime ISA for a home means that, that house will be the only home the individual will own. That’s the disadvantage I see in that. I find it restricting. For me, personal ISA account for index funds. I invest into S&P 500, FTSE 100, Life strategy 100%. I’m very much vested into properties and Lifetime ISA is restricting. However, buying a house through a limited liability company is a good way to boycott the restrictions from the Lifetime ISA. Anyways, good conversation, I enjoyed it.

Not the ONLY home you will own. But the FIRST home you will own. Nothing stops you from buying as many other houses as you like afterward. For someone looking to buy their first house in the mid to long term, the Lifetime ISA is the best option. Also, LLCs cannot open ISAs. It is only open to individuals, and if you already own a house by owning an LLC or Trust that owns a property, you are not considered a first-time buyer and are thus ineligible to open a Lifetime ISA.

Fantastic advice for nurses out there. I have a stocks and shares LISA and I always recommend to anyone between 18-39 to open a stocks and shares LISA account for exactly the reasons you've said is the government gives you 25% on top of your £4000 up to the age of 50.so depending on when you open the account and the age you are that at least £1000 per year or 25% on whatever you save in the account . And if you invest in stocks and shares you also make some money towards a house and your retirement. A win all around.thank you Nanelle and Dr S for dropping gems.

Nice one. I got interested in stocks and shares from the very little topic we covered in one of my secondary school subjects back in Nigeria. Since then, I have been into saving and investing even though I didn't really understand what buying stocks and shares was all about. I hope they will include more of such topics in schools to help youths become financial literate earlier on in life. I really started delving into core financial literacy during the lockdown in 2020 and it's like scales fell from my eyes😀
