I read a comment somewhere recently that 5SOS5 is if SGFG grew up and went to therapy and this song is the EPITOME of that. It's like Jet Black Heart went to therapy and learned to verbalize their need for self care while in dark emotional state. And I will treasure it always. 💙💙💙

god the sauce mixing never ends!!! 😭 i love that song! it’s in a weird place as both a fan fave and a song people dislike, i think fans who feel a deeper connection to the band tend to really love it? but people who might not like their older stuff as much or who just listen to the album and suddenly theres this emo song thrown in there, they just dont vibe with it 😅 which is a shame. it’s definitely the closest to their second album era they’ve been in a while. i personally love hearing mike sing and i too love a good emo sad song where i can just yell « WHERE DID I GO WROOONG WHERE DID I GO WRONG 😭 » in my room when the mood hits right. i even like the cheesy counting.
