They just blend so well that a lot of the times people think it is Luke singing, when in fact it is actually one of the others. In particular Luke and Ashton's voices are very similar and blend so well that sometimes it's hard to tell which one is singing what. Ashton sings the high notes sometimes, and Calum and Michael also sing high notes as well. Luke is definantly not the only member of that band that can sing high. They all can. You should hear Ashton actually singing by himself (not playing around singing like he does sometimes, but actually seriously singing), he has an incredible range. As does Calum and Michael. Any one of the members of this particular band could sing lead and be incredible at it. Another reason why 5SOS is amazing.
