I started 3 weeks ago (yes, weeks) but then realized I'd never be able to figure out which algorithm is being used (on any game I choose to play, online or walk-in casino). I also have no way of telling at which point the beneficial parts of the algorithm takes place. Exactly, you sound like someone who has actually played these machines. I find that Max bets pay much differently than small bets. It's usually one or two big line hits. Small bets usually give you the most free spins, those can add up to. It is normally much hard to hit the bonus when max betting, as you know. Good luck and play smart.

I sometimes drop a few lines off for a little while. I start with all the lines but if nothing is happening I drop some and see what happens. Sometimes it flushes out the feature or free spins. I think the machines are fun and I love to go to the casino. I alternate my gaming with a drink or a snack or even a walk around outside. If there is a band I can go and watch them and go back to the machines later. I don't think it's good to sit at a machine for too many hours in one sitting. If you are winning sure stay there but if not get up and take a trot around your casino. There is often other entertainment or nice bars and restaurants where you can enjoy yourself. I have a break if I am losing or any time really and go back later. I think if you break up your night you can make your money last a bit longer and you won't get all stressed.

It's actually quite a process to change the odds on a class 3 machine like the ones in Vegas. Class 2 machines aka Bingo machines that are found in tribal casinos can be changed at any time as they are connected to a server and the casino is not required to report changes on class 2 machines to the state gaming commission.

Each payline can be set to pay out at a different % , this was confirmed by a tech slot channel recently. So you have to think of each bet line as a different machine almost. Try different things on a machine, if it doesn't pay, move on. There are tons in the casino. Good luck!

This is good small play strategy. The law of numbers applies to all things gaming. The whole system is based on mathematics. What you see on the screen is only an illusion created to express the reels/ lines played & payouts. The machines cycles tend to give them a personality we feel we can relate to & dance with. I do want to point out that the odds will usual be lower than 98% for most. That number only applies to the high limit machines. While penny machines would pay back less, on the strip casinos also pay back a bit less. For rule #2, there are some machines that will allow you to unlock the characters based on your bet. I mean with lower bets you can win with only one symbol but with the highest bet you unlock all five symbols for example. Are you talking about changing the bets regarding the symbols or the multipler?

That's a good point. I have seen people win on those machines using the lower bets. Unlocking all the symbols is great, but does not necessarily gaurantee any kind of win. You can win money with less symbols activated and winning money is what counts. If you are playing for the top jackpots only, then you will have to bet higher. But those are few and far in between.

I like the machines which have 135, 270, 405, 540, 675 and Max - totally start low at 135 on a $20 bill. You got 2000 to work with. You get 10 shots at 135 = 1350 - if you don't hit cash out your 6.50 and move on. You probably will hit though, and then you move up like you said, 270's. The bigger money is in the more expensive hits obviously. This is on penny slots. You can make money......

I forgot to mention that I don't like to put more than $40.00 into a machine. Honestly, any jackpot I have ever won has been on the first $20.00. If you get nothing in your first 10 spins it is best to move to another machine. I have watched people feed a machine $1000's and not get anything or they win and get it up and keep plugging the machine with money and just lose it all. People get too greedy when they should be cautious. I like to play cautiously. I will play max if I feel lucky but only a couple of spins on the casino's money, not mine and yes I have won by doing that.

Most of these tips are simply confirmation bias - if you are expecting it you will be more alert to the times when it happens, and ignore the times when it doesn't. The only tip that makes sense is #2, which is what I thought of 35 years ago - stagger your bet amounts, and bet minimum more often. The real reason is that most of the time the machine will miss so why waste a maximum bet on a losing spin. Make most of your bets minimum value, and randomly stagger your bets from min to max, in order to stretch your bankroll.

This is very true. It's all about timing. If you want the best return rate. Go for higher denomination machines. If your playing a penny machines and doing $2 a spin you might as well play a dollar machine and bet 2 credits. The higher the denomination the higher the payback percentage. Granted there are some exceptions here, but that's the general rule of thumb at pretty much all casinos unless it's a class 2 facility and that's a whole other can of worms.

The only thing you need to know is this, slot machines are programmed to win. The return to player (RTP) percentage is always less than 100%, in general low 90%........ So the closer to 100% the more time it will take to get all your money. Once you realise this, have a bit of fun, if you win then all the better for you...... but to win big money you better have deep pockets

Everything he said becomes a matter of luck just like slots. There is only 2 true ways to increase your odds playing slots. Playing a higher denomination machine of the same game. (a casino makes it's money faster on a $1 game then it does a 5 cent game. So the payout percentage is set higher) Or the 2nd way is to increase the number of spins you are spinning. Let us talk about the secrete random seeds, that are entered into the slot machines and how they affect or control the payouts. A random seed will only allow a certain paytable and unless that paytable contains the major jackpot you will never hit the major jackpot based on that random seed. Believe it or not, this goes for Keno as well pending the number you select those combinations of numbers may never show up. This was exposed many years back when someone privy to it tried to cheat a casino. They knew if there was a power failure the numbers would start over from the beginning they wrote these numbers down, caused a power failure, and then got greedy and busted because these people were winning way too much and beating the odds. To my understanding now after a power failure, a new random seed would be entered, these are the secrets that should be exposed.

I have watched his videos and believe that he has proved most of what I said right. He has said that the software controls the machines, so they are not 100% random. One huge misunderstanding by gamblers is a payout percentage. They hear a machine is set to pay off 90%. They instantly assume that the machine will pay you back 90% of the money you put in. 90% means over the course of the life of the slot machine. Which could be 20 years. You will have winning streaks and losing streaks. Most casinos operate on the same basic principle. A machine gets programmed and set. They normally do not touch it. Because its a lot of work to change the odds on a slot machine. The casino has to verify it by running a test that verify each reel and hit are working correctly. This takes a good chunk of time. But is required because think of all the bad PR a casino would get if someone hit big because the programming got messed up. But they didn't pay it due to a machine malfunction? Not to mention a casino views a slot machine down as lost profit. If its not up and running it's losing money. So boils down the few extra bucks they would make by changing the percent from 90% to 85% would be mostly lost in the change over. New machines are played alot, the more a machine is played the more money it makes. But that in itself doesn't cause the odds to go up. If a machine is set to a certain percentage then its set. Losing or winning doesn't change the odds at all.

Slot design secrets are tighter than a... well use your own imagination. Has ANYONE EVER heard a slot manufacturer employee EVER REVEAL the programming or setup of a slot? Of course not. I believe the slots ARE setup to recognize a NEW Player, Last Coin, and Changing Bet Amounts. I feel like the unluckiest person on slots at my local venues and casino. Almost every time someone sits next to me they win 500 - 1000 or more. Happened last night and all my other visits there. I only got lucky one time about 2 and half years back hitting a 7000 jackpot with 20 cent bets, than changed it to 50 cents and it hit it. Can they see you from a head office with a win release button? I’m suspicious about it. Sounds like the machines are programmed to hit on higher bet denominations. No they are not watching you and changing the odds, but the odds may be better for those betting higher. The only machines that the odds can be changed electronically are class 2 machines aka Bingo machines. Those are connected to a server. These are only found in tribal casinos. Changing the odds in a class 3 machine like the ones in Vegas is quite the process and is rarely if ever done.

A random number generator is very easy to understand. The machine is constantly cycling millions of combinations of numbers that when stopped (when you hit the spin button) displays that number on the reels. So it is timing too. Hit the spin button 1 second or 3 seconds later and you will have an entirely different outcome. The pseudo part is only used because it's not true random as the machine has to stay at or above the payback percentage, so if it was truly random than there would be number combinations that could put the machine below the set payback percentage.

1. The last coin phenomenon is a coincidence. It would be illegal for a casino to purposely program that into a machine. 2. The random number generator that selects one of millions of combinations to determine the reel sequence does not know what amount you bet and has no bearing on if a winning combination will be picked. 3. Changing your bet does not change your odds 4. Machines are programmed to a win percentage. Higher is around 95-96% and lower is between 86-91% 5. You will never ‘eventually’ wind up with a big hit. The machine has no memory. You have the same odds on EVERY spin.

I disagree with just about everything you said except for the odds. The machine can be programmed on each line with separate odds. This was shown by another channel who is a slot tech. Just go and look at how many slot channels have videos that say "Huge come back" or "I was down to my last bet" . If you think it's coincidence fine, I don't.
